| Is this normal? My little yorkie is due Aug. 26th and today I noticed she had some dried discharge around her vulva which is slightly swolen compared to a few days ago. I checked and she is not bleeding so I cleaned her up. Is this normal? |

| Well, sounds like we'll be grandmas at the same time! Chloe's discharge went away, so I guess everything is fine. I plan to start taking her temp in about 10 days to try and pinpoint when she'll have them. I plan to take off work and stay home with her. Let me know when Silk goes into labor. |

| Yes, this is normal. Just check daily and clean if necessary. If it turns brown - she should be in labor. Good luck. T. |

| How soon before they have the puppies does the discharge appear? I didn't notice it with my Autumn's first litter, but with this litter I noticed a little clear discharge yesterday. Nothing gushing or anything, just a little bit.

| No not heavy at all. Actually, if you have ever had kids, ya know how if you have a weak bladder and you sneeze you pee a bit? Kind of looks like that LOL but it isn't dripping or anything.
