| Expecting Biewers I did the doppler on my 2 pregger Biewers today and I hear 3 in one and 4 in the other. I could be wrong about the numbers because I was so excited that I could hardly concentrate. Plus, all the other beasties wanted to get in on the act. Cannot wait til end of the month. It will be so much fun comparing their looks and growth to those of my Biewtis. WOW!!! I am having a hard time waiting. I have 2 standard color puppies that will have to go to forever homes a week earlier than I usually place them.. I do not allow ANYONE in my home from about a week before babies are due to a few weeks after the new ones get here.. This is one of the most exciting breedings I have ever made. I was forwarded a post saying that only German-born Biewers are true so I am waiting to see what these false ones will look like..I am gonna have to start posting pics of tummies and stuff..[B] |

| Thank all of you for your lovely comments! I am so excited, too. My Cruiser has proven himself, royally. We had two ties with one female and 1 tie with the other after 2 days rest and it looks like his little swimmers were still strong. I do not plan to keep any of these puppies, but, well, ya just never know.. We are gonna do Xrays next week for a second opinion for numbers and to judge the size. Both moms are doing so well..Chrystel is snotty and Ilsa is mellow and rolling on the couch all the time. The others are sorta standing around looking like deers in the headlights. I know they wonder why the moms are getting the extra feedings and mom ho;dong them and smooching their tummies. I have said before that the poor puppies are a captive audience for my lullabies. We are expecting between the 25th of Feb and the 3rd of March. But, mother nature says they will get here when they are ready! Anyhow, there is so much going on here that it will be good to get these babies out where they belong. I have 2 standard colors that are 10 weeks old and I have to place them BEFORE the new puppies come. I keep my moms as near stress-free after their Xrays as I possibly can so, I do NOT allow anyone in the house including family til the puppies are old enough to survive if the moms should get stressed and lose their milk. I have a big ole BIRO that is a sweetheart but he has to be placed as well, so I am doing interviews and trying to keep a hubby who has a burr in his butt consoled. Ah, life is rough, huh? Anyhow, as I have said a lot of times before, the ole nurse in me needs some outlet for my medical training and this is it. God surely knew what He was doing when He sent me my first Yorkie.. |
