| Even if the dog has welped before 8.5 is too old. My question is why would she want to? |

| I think that would be way to much stress on her at that age. Hugs Cheryl & Lexi |

is NO way that girl should be bred under any circumstances. VERY high risk of loosing her and the litter. Please let her know is a BIG NO NO. hugs, Carmen in nj | |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I MUST agree!!!! Way to old to breed..This would be very unfair to her and WAY to stressfull... Sorry...but i just feel bad for dogs that are bred when they are to old

Senior Yorkie Talker | I won't say "old" because I don't want to be called old but she is over age for that now. So definately not, all dogs should be retired at 5. Too much stress even if they have welped before!

| Also to add, she needs to be spayed asap anyway to avoid getting mammary tumors and ovarian cancer and other cancers due to her not being spayed. Those diseases are pretty much totally prevented if spayed beforehand.

And I agree with everyone, she is too old to be used for breeding.

| Just have her do the math - for every 1 year of life she is multiply that by 7 to give what it would be in people age. 7 x 8.5 = 59.5 years old. If I ever get pregnant at almost 60 - I think I would die!! |

| Well....your sister is wrong. Of course, physically, she probably CAN breed her, but it would be very unwise to do so. Dangerous for the female and not something that respectable breeders do. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I have to agree with everyone else, and say she is past her prime, I would defiantely be too concerned for her and her health.

| Besides stating the obvious age issue again; I think my first question would be why does she want to? |
