Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Whelping Pudding Recipes Thanks to Mary from Mardelin Yorkshire Terriers for providing the following recipes: Offer during and immediately after whelp, when all has settled down: 1. Can of Goats Milk 2. Equal Parts of Distilled Water 3. Egg Yolk well beaten 4. 1 Tablespoon of Light Karo Syrup. During the Nursing Time: 1. Can of Evaporated Milk 2. 12 oz of distilled water, warmed in microwave 3. 1 envelope of unflavored geletin - disolve in warmed water. 4. 2 well beaten egg yolks 5. 2 tablespoons of Karo Syrup 6. 2 Tablespoons of Vanilla Yogurt (low-fat). Chill till set. Spoon out a tablespoon a couple of times a day and offer it to mom in addition to her food. Great for weaning pups too.
