| I don't think she is pg after all.... I posted a few weeks back stating that my two Yorkies who were both under a year ACCIDENTALLY mated, and I thought she was pregnant. I also stated that since I would be in my last weeks of pregnancy, I thought it was going to be a very hard time, but that we would make the best of it. Well, after two trips to the Doctor, and one X-Ray yesterday, the doctor says he doesn't see any puppies in there. She is BIG, and has gained a couple of pounds, her nipples are VERY swollen, and she LOOKS pregnant, but the Doctor said he thinks it is a False Pregnancy. He said either the male and/or female were too young, or they didn't get together during the right time of her Heat Cycle. Either way, I would have been happy, but I am a bit relieved, since this is a very crazy time right now. I know that 6 months from now will be ALOT easier to handle. So thank you everyone for you help and information. I think I am very prepared now. I found a great book on breeding from the Library, I just wish I could hold on to it, because it has everything I needed to know about breeding, and I would love to have it for when she is REALLY pregnant, now all I can do is hope the book is still there, or try to find it somewhere to buy. Again Thank You ALL for your help and information, and if anyone has any info/advice about anything that I have written, I would love to hear/read it. Thanks, Audrey |
