| 4.05 oz at 5 weeks old??? I came across an ad for a little pup here in the UK. The ad stated that the pup was 4.05 oz and 5 weeks old. She said she was looking for an extra special home for him. I'm not looking for another (he'd kill me) but I was just wondering-is this unheard of? She is'nt charging the earth for him £600 ($800), how big do you think this little guy will get, assumming and hoping he makes it!!!

| i would have to think it would be a mistake... yorkies are born that big.... he would have to have some major problems if he was that small...

| ~maybe they meant 4.5 lbs. mine weighed 3.75 oz. when he was born. or they just might be scammers, wanting the buyers to think they are getting a really small puppy. i personally wouldn't buy him for myself. Last edited by clm56; 02-10-2009 at 09:23 AM. |

| The ad said 4.50 oz but thats still sooo small. She says he will need extra special care and attention and that tiny ones like him don't come around too often! I tried searching for the ad but can't find it. Maybe she has removed it if someone has put a deposit on him. I'll keep searching.

| I think the ad has gone but when I googled "4.5oz puppy yorkshire terrier" this did come up-the ad must have been here but when you click on it its not there anymore. I hope its because she has found a family for him and not something else Quote:
