| bathing?? I just brought my female home from the breeders and she told me not to bath her for a week. Is there any reason that I shouldn't bath her earlier?

| How old is she? As long as you use mild shampoo and keep her very warm, it shouldn't be a problem. Does she need a bath really bad or can it wait a week?

| She just turned 4 yrs. and this is her second litter. I can't remember if I waited a week to bather her the first time or not. It is just that her hair is matted under her belly, on her legs and back end. She could probably wait a week, but not sure that I can as she looks dirty. ha

| Sometimes I just wet a comb and 'clean' mine up that way. I have a bottle of spray conditioner and I have used that. (sparingly) |

| Yeah, I will wait until sometime next week. She was at the breeders almost a week and is ready for a bath, but in the long run it is better to be safe than sorry. Thanks guys
