Yorkie mom of 3 wks bleeding again So my female just had pups 3 weeks ago. She spotted for about a wk afterward, but is bleeding again. It looks like it was a little clotty too. Is this normal? Could she be in heat again, already?

Have you checked her temp? You might want to call your vet and see what their advice is.

I dont think this is normal. Did you have an xray to see how many pups. I have heard of pups staying inside the female. You need to call your vet to make sure she is ok. Please let us know....

No I didn't get an x-ray but she had five pups. That's alot for her small size. She doesn't seem to be sick or anything. I would assume by now if she still had a pup inside of her that she would be deathly ill, if not dead. I'm going to do a little more research, then make a vet appt. tomorrow. She's not bleeding heavily, just spotting.
