Donating YT 2000 Club Member | smoking I would assume that second hand smoke has the same affect on a preg. bitch as it does on a human. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have been making family go outside when they come over..they think I am nuts.. ha ha

| I think you are absolutely right. Animals have to breathe the same air as we do. I can't imagine that it doesn't get into their lungs too. I make hubby go outside to smoke!

| I would imagine that second hand smoke would be even worse for our babies, since they are so small, and their lungs so little Good for you, standing up to smokers and making them do it outside. It's not good for anyone, not to mention that your house would stink if they smoked inside. NOTHING takes away that smell. I'm a smoker, but I can't stand the smell of stale ciggies in someone's house, ick! No one is allowed to smoke in my house either, it's just gross!

| I'm a smoker, but made my house non-smoking when I wanted a litter on my girl. Just like you I would imagine that it would be just as destruying for them as it is for pregnant humans |

| I agree about the second hand smoke. My husband smokes, but OUTSIDE. He is so funny - he doesn't like the smell of stale cigarette smoke - he has always smoked outside. |
