| Most females have their first heat anywhere from 7 months to 1 year. Most of mine have come in around 9 to 10 months of age. Some females have just have 1 heat a year but most come in heat every 6 to 9 months. |

| Rainbow had her first heat at 9 months. She acted the same way. I figured that is why they call them bitches. lol

| LOL. She's having PMS. Are there any males around her? If you plan on breeding, I would not breed her on her first heat. Put a doggie diaper on her. In the future, if you touch her "flower" and it's hard, she not ready yet. When it is soft to the touch (like touching your lips) then she is ready and you will see her move her tail to the side and accept her mate. But, if there are no plans on breeding, then just ignore everthing I just said. |

I dont know whether I am having her fixed or not.I dont really know much about it and cost and the right reasons for breeding.I am keeping a very close eye on her though,,we have dogs all over the neighborhood!
