Sassy's temp is at 97.9. How much longer til she goes into labor? We're anxiously waiting...lol

Usually 2-24 hours. What day gestation is this?
I looked in your other post and didn't see

But we've also seen a lot of low dips in the April thread only to go right back up

Im not really sure exactly. We dropped her off at the breeder on Feb 16th. She seemed ready to breed to me or pretty close anyway. But when I asked the breeder about when they connected, she said Feb 20th. But the breeder had a couple other females there too and I know she worked Feb 17th. So Im thinking that Feb 20th isn't exactly correct. Sassy got milk 3 days ago too.

We're taking her temp again @ 7 pm pacific time. Im going to take it every hour on the hour. Her last litter, she was 97.7 and had pups 7 hrs later! So we're keeping the house dark, keeping it cool and relaxed for her.

My last female had a drop in temp at noon and did not have any pups till 3 am so it can be awhile..Any other symptoms that she has besides the temp drop?

at 7:20 pm, her temp is 97.5. We had to wait a bit because we turned on the a/c for awhile and the thermometer was saying 94.5 which was totally not right. haha. She licking herself and she's hanging out in her whelping box! sweet! She's going in there by herself, she must remember it from the last litter. Her daughter keeps laying in there with her though. Her daughter is monkey see monkey do. So when sassy digs around, Mouse digs around too. They're inseparable. Lol. The house is almost pitch black. She's relaxing more and we're just letting her do her thing for right now.

Best wishes tonight.It is 9:30 here and I am off to bed it was a long day.
Cant imagine having the AC on .It is raining and about 39 degrees.feels good.Maybe some sleet tonight or some snow flakes..

I dunno about this whole temp thing! It can be tricky!!!! Duckie's temp was at 97.7 three days ago and it has been 100.4 every night since....we might still have a few days, who knows!

I am going through the same thing I thought for sure it would be last night hopefully tonight for you and me I cant stand the waiting. I will probably be up all night tonight so I will keep checking in with your progress Good Luck!
