Wow 5 babies!! CONGRATS!! I'm glad they are all doing well and mommy is too! I'm soo proud of Lilly! Can't wait to see pics tomorrow!!!

Yes 4 girls and 1 boy and they are keeping me busy... thanks for all you girls going to sleep... I am going to be up pacing for awhile yet.

Is it normal for puppies to knock each other off a nipple all the time. I am having a hard time getting everybody fed at once. Lilly only had one last time... big difference!!!!

I was worried about the smallest girl over night so I gave her a little milk. Is that okay... she nursed at first but seemed to get trampled. I wanted her to have a full belly. I have some of them licks of nutrical... my nutidrops are here yet

When should I be concerned to feed them the beef liver remedy. I am just so worried... I can't imagine losing any of these precious babies... but I know all to well it can happen.

Lilly seems restless at times... Should I trust her alone while I sleep with puppies and check every hour or so... or should I put them on a heating pad when I absolutely have to be away. She took a little bit to get used to the first puppy and she is coming around I am just nervous.

Again, thank you for your prayers... I am going to lie by the whelping box through the night.

Scratch that... she seems fine after going potty... DUH. After I let her in she ran through my legs and straight up... dripping all over my carpet and all. I have my alarm set and have my cousin to help me make sure they are nursing.

Thank you so much again. I am going to go take some advil for my sore back... since I was in the box with her all night and try to get a few hours sleep!

Congratulations! It is normal for them to fight and push over teats. That's when you really have to make sure the smallest eats, they're the first to be pushed off because of their size. I'm glad everyone did well.
