| Cozy had here pups. My computer at home is broken. Cozy had 5 puppies Feb. 11, early in the morning. 0 problems with delivery. 3 boys and 2 girls-- The pups were between 3.5 oz and 4.5 oz at birth. The pups are a little over 4 weeks old and as you can see keeping me very busy. The biggest is almost 2 pounds and the littlest is 1 pound 8.5 oz. Work and home are the only places I go except for weekly trip to the food store. They are all adorable. I am keeping 1 female for myself and my mom is taking 1 male. They are starting to eat solid foods. Cozy is such a good mom. She was go good she got a bladder infection the first week she had them because she would not leave them to go to the bathroom. I would carry her outside and she would "pee" for two seconds and then wanted to go right back inside. Now this week she has mastasis, still producing milk that her babies are not eating. All I know is her nipples are black and blue--Those babies are violent eaters. Will try and keep you updated but with no home computer it is hard and I currently have no time to buy a new one.

| I just reread that you have started them on solid food. That is good. I hope mom gets over her mastitis soon. |

| She was on antibiotics for the mastitis. According to the vet she was producing more milk than the puppies could consume ie. too good of a milk producer. The puppies are five weeks old now and go for their first shots next week. Cozy seems so happy that she can play with them now instead of being a milk machine. Even though the puppies are eating mostly solid food ie. softened dry puppy food she still sneaks in to feed them every 4-6 hrs. but not for long periods. She only feeds them for 10-15 minutes tops. All but two of her breasts have dried up. None of the puppies have teeth yet. Is this normal???
