| Typical puppy weight? ok my puppies are almost 10 weeks old now, my question is what should they weigh at this age because i think mine are little teapots! haha the biggest weighs 3.4lbs, middle one at 3 lbs and smallest at 2 lbs. Is this normal? i think my lil piggies are gonna grow up to be teapots! mama is 5 lbs and daddy is 7 lbs. any thoughts? thanks

| They won't neccessarily be teapots. Beamer and Rainbow weighed 3.5 and 3.7 ounces at birth. Beamer grew faster and weighed about 2 1/2 lbs at 12 weeks and Rainbow was 2 lbs at 12 weeks. Now at a little over 10 months Beamer weighs 6 lbs 10 ounces and Rainbow weighs 4 lbs 8 ounces. They have gained very little weight in the last 2 months. I would say yours are likely to end up right around 7 to 7 1/2 lbs for the biggest one, maybe 7 for the second and under 5 lbs for the third. Sometimes they have growth spurts earlier and some have them later and some just surprize you and have them WAY later like my Sunnie did. He comes from a line of 5-7 lbers and was 7 lbs until he was close to 2 years, then he had a growth spurt and now weighs between 9 and 10 lbs.

| 2 lbs at 10 weeks seems fine, but, the other one is going to be a big bruiser.... |
