HELp - Breathing problems Hi ive been awake most of the night due to a 3 week old pup hving breathing difficulties. I noticed she was crying alot and usually they are so quite. Ive looked at her and her tounge is blue!. Im just wondering if mum has stood on her or squashed her. Im waiting for the VET to open in a hour to take her there, i do hope she is ok, any idea what else it could be?

Breathing problems vets visit hi just to let u know that ive been to vet who informed me the pup has a chest infection on one side and thats why she is having difficulty in breathing! Saying the pup could have caught MY cold!!!! He gave her an injection of antibiotics and one for her breathing. Has also given me electrolytes, said to keep her warm and if she pulls through today bring her back tomorrow. I hate having the pup injected at such a early age 2weeks 3 days old. I pray she will be ok, but i thought i would let you know. I hope the others will be ok, they all seem fine, thank god. x

Chest Infection Sadly, liittle Tootsie died at 15.55 this afternoon. She went quite so i went over to her and picked her up, she took i breath and died, Im so upset. Prior to that i had rang the vet 5 mins before and said there was no improvement after she was given the injections to help her breath, and he said to bring her back at 5pm. Ive informed him that she has died and he wants me to bring the pup in for a postmortem, to find the cause of death. God i do hope and pray the other 3 will be ok. Would like to thank you all for your good wishes and support at this sad time. ann-marie

I am so sorry for the loss of your puppy. It is so hard when you have had them that long to lose them. I hope the others thrive for you.

You did all you could for her and she is now at rainbow bridge with all the other little critters. She's happy and healthy and she will see you again some day. Lots of tight hugs to you.
