				   | I posted here before about being a beginner at bow making. I am finding it really hard to get the info I need (such as ribbon lengths, layering instructions ect.) on certain bows. So....I thought I would ask you guys what you look for in bows. What are your preferences in size? What colors do you like? Do you perfer show style or casual/fun? Do you like big buttons or pony beads? How stiff do you like your ribbon? Anything else I am missing please feel free to include. I made several this weekend and had a lot of fun doing it but I am concerned that they will not be what everyone is looking for in bows. Also, if you make bows can you please let me know what size ribbons you use (meaning what size cuts you make), where you find your buttons, etc....... Thanks everyone! I hope I get this ball rolling soon! Bowmaking is so much fun!!! |

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | I like the single loop 5/8 th bows and like bright colors. I also want the bands to be sewed on securely. I have bought bows before and the band is so loosely sewn on that they didn't last at all. I would love to see your bows.

I sew all of my bands on (maybe even over sew) and make sure that neither the band nor the button are going anywhere. I plan on putting the pictures of the ones I made over the weekend but my husband lost the battery charger for my camera so I can't get them off till I find it. My problem I am having is that my loops aren't as fluffy as I think they should be. I like they way they layer but I don't like that they dont "pouf" that much. When I get the pics I will post them so everyone can tell me what they think. | |

				   | Here are the pictures that I said I was going to try and post. The lighting and focus are bad but I hope they work. Please be honest and let me know what you think and what I can do to improve them.
