| Gizzy stole his GE buddy's blankie!!! I found some cute fleece on sale, so I made my first attempt at making a fringed fleece blanket. It's a pretty gender-neutral pattern and color scheme, so I thought it would be a good buddy gift. It was pretty easy to make, but I'm not sure all the fringe is exactly even, and I don't know if the knots are right, but I was pleased. Apparently, I wasn't the ONLY one who liked it. I went to the kitchen to wash dishes, came back and Gizzy had pulled it off the couch and was laying on it! It was too cute. I guess it's his blankie now. I will just have to make another one, but it's all good! Now I know how (even though it's not perfect) and I can use his GE buddy's colors for the new one. If anyone has any suggestions for improvement, I would appreciate it. Are the knots right? Thanks in advance.

It has a squeaker in the belly and the legs and tail have that crinkle stuff in it (whatever that is). He likes it a lot.

| Thank you. Yes, we've learned that rule...if it's in the house, Gizzy thinks it's his!

| You're right, I couldn't be mad, and I HAD to laugh. I probably shouldn't reward him, but how can I take it away now?

| Yeah, but MOM, Gizzy NEEDED that blankey. It had sentimental value since it was the very first that his mommy made. Looks like you might have another career in store -- making blankeys..... |

| oh HOW CUTE!!! i love the colors! a helpful hint.. when you cut the strips and get to the corner, cut in a semicircle around the corner as opposed to going right UP to the corner edge, not sure whether you did this or not but i know when i did my first one i made that mistake! but it looks SO nice and comfy... i would have stole it too |
