How do you like digital scrapbooking? I've never tried to do a whole page online. I do a lot of textboxes that way now though for my journaling since I am not big on my handwriting:p . (Started doing that after seeing it on DIY about three years ago.)

I also make a lot of my own diecuts using Google images.

Wow theres alot of scrapbook fanatics here. My screen name is scrappymomma because of that... it was my name on another baord (scrapbooking) so to make it easy for me to remember I just used the same. Its funny though some people here thought I had or have a dog named "Scrappy" . HAve any of you ever been involved in swaps? It would be fun to do a dog theme swap here amongst us. If anyone is interested Id me more than happy to host it and explain it. Ive done a bunch and its always fun to do....just a thought ;)

Digital Scrapbooking is okay, but I like the old fashioned way better :p I like texture! I like scrapbooks that I can "feel".

Believe me Kay, if I can do it, anyone can! :D And there are so many cute doggie books and items now ... you need to do one for Jaxon!

I was the kid who hated arts and crafts in school. And before I started scrapbooking in 1998, the idea of taking scissors to a photo was sacrilege to me.:eek: But I have a very dear friend who got me started and as a result have made a few more really good friends.

Lot of fun. Good group activity or something you can do on your own.

I do this as a side job for the ladies at work....If you want it done heres how I do it. You tell me how much you want into it...if you want me to do the frame or if you wanna pick it out. Frames are expensive! Especially shadow boxes. I can show you samples and what I charge for them if your interested. I dont charge by the picture or whatever I just really ask back what I put into it.....thats it.

I can post pics of some of the ladies stuff i did around here and what they cost. Up to you if your interested! Id have to clean the dust off my scrapping stuff...lol it's been awhile but Im itching to get back at it with Diggy healthy now it shoudl happen!!!!

And Kay, I don't think you're that far down 270 from St. Charles are you? They have a monthly "crop" there where scrapbookers gather to work on their projects.

Stuff is for sale and there is almost always at least 1 of every kind of gadget that people are happy to let you use.

If you ever want to give it a try -- or just check it out -- let me know.

I would love to see some of the pages you ladies have done. I must have missed out on the scrapping gene...but I love to look at them. :)

I'm only about a 1/2 hour West of St. Charles...can you get me some info....Oh God! another project for me to get involved in!!! LOL!!!:dribble:

SERIOUS scrapbookers ... SHEESH! I wouldn't want to be one then.:D Our table is usually one of the livelier ones and everybody gives everybody grief and it's a really good time. We ARE in a church basement though, so you have to be good!
