I know just how you feel it's awful! My very first gift exchange and I NEVER got a thank you, nothing. Please don't be discouraged, I have had 3 or 4 GREAT exchanges since then.

My first exchange was the same....and I haven't done one since, but I am going to do it this next time, so hopefully people will understand the rules and no one has to go thur this...It does hurt your feelings, and then you realize that its only a few people....

oh no i dont' think that about everyone on here!! i was pumped because i watched the christmas GE and everyone was SO thrilled... so i was really hoping it would go well... perhaps this happened so that if we sign up next time.. i'll be TWICE as thankful i still LOVE seeing what everyone gets!! it is fun to watch!

I'm sorry for you that didn't get a gift acknowledged. I've not been a participant in past GE's but will in the future and this would hurt me too. Tell you what though, anyone that would like to send us a gift - we will gladly, most assuredly post a big THANK YOU -

We went thru the same thing-showed they got the package & days went by without a word...The admin pm'd them & they said they got it. When a response was finally recv'd it was about 2 weeks later & said they would post pic's-they never did. I did not do the GE this time because of that. We are only wanting a response of thanks & I really put alot of time (made a outfit) and $$ (went way over budget). It actually hurts your feelings when they take so long to respond! We loved our gifts from our GE & let them know & sent pic's. Just letting you know that you are not the only one!

sure the package was received.
Only at that time did I get a thanks. Then I was thanked for items
not even in the package.
I lost interest but maybe next time.

Awww, Kay, I hate to hear that happened to you. Carley and I enjoyed having Jaxon this last time and you were very prompt and thankful in return. Sending the stuff out is as much fun (or more) than getting, I think. Looks like you had the same person that another one on here had. Why keep signing up for the exchanges if your not going to follow through? Maybe she is technology challenged, but that really isn't a reason if you keep signing up and don't post pics for the last 2 or 3 you participated in. We didn't sign up this time either, but only because I have been ordering stuff for Carley's Bday and donating for the server, so my funds for YT stuff were tapped out this time around. I look forward to the next one though, hope I get someone who gets that the thankyou's and pics are just as important as signing up and sending out.

Gosh, I didn't realize so many people had participated in the exchanges and were never thanked. I know it's not about the money, but it would be nice to know that the time and effort put into picking things out for that special little furbaby, did, indeed, go to that furbaby and not regifted or sold on ebay. I hope people are more considerate in the future exchanges. A simple thanks means so much!

When I've been in the exchanges, I've been more excited about giving than receiving and watching for that thread of pictures and exclamations on how the pups reacted, to me, was the most thrilling part of the exchange. All the exchanges I've been in except one were good. I sent the package very early in the timeframe and the people were not home so it went to the post office. They did not bother to pick it up and I had admin and others pm her to tell her to please pick it up or it would be sent back to the sender. It took her 3 weeks to pick up the package and then another week or so to open it and post anything. By that time I was too ticked to care.

I hope you all get your proper thank you's! You certainly deserve that!

i'm sorry this has happened to you guys. Maybe another rule needs to be instated that people with over a certain number of posts can only participate. I know it would stink for the new people who actually want to participate and are excited about it, but maybe it would weed out the ones who just want free stuff and then bounce. its not fair to the people who spent money and time and all they want in return is a thank you and some acknowledgement.

HI! Yes we loved our great stuff from you guys! I hadn't ever posted pictures until that GE - & I still struggle with the technology of shrinking them down, but the pictures are really great for everyone to be able to see the awesome gifts that are being exchanged! Hope you all are doing great! & maybe we will do the next GE together again!! Kay
