So . . Shopping I have gone out this past week already pre shopping for my SB ! yes I know we don't have anyone yet. But I am really excited. I am trying to figure what places have what. . . If I am going to have enough of time to order. . . If it going to have a theme . . . . Tues is the last day for people to get the questionaire in. So what have you been doing ? . . or is it just me !? LOL |
Teri it's not just you, I keep looking at the sign up thread and the questionaire and keep thinking about what I will do depending on which buddy Lola gets. Unfortunately some of you guys have been a little shy on giving out much info about you and your pup in regards to themes and colors and stuff you like. from past experience I know it makes it so much more fun to pick out stuff if you know a lot about your secret buddy. Also please post links to some good photos of your pup and you with your pup if possible, I know myself and others in the past have enjoyed having things made with photos on it. |
I have made contact with a couple vendors to have them on standby too. And I have picked up a couple little things as well. I get so giddy about my buddy it's hard to contain myself. The excitement is building buddy Mates! |

I have a question for everyone in the gift exchange, are any of you NOT on facebook? So many of us have our best pictures there. So if you are not on Facebook and you click on Galen's page are you able to see his photos? |

The best way of checking is to log out of facebook and go to the page. That way you can see what others not on facebook can see. I hope that helps |
I have a facebook page, but I am not on facebook much and don't post too many pictures there, I should start doing that more :p:D. When it comes to pictures, obviously being an avid scrapbooker, I love to do photo gifts. One of the problems I run into is that when they are uploaded to YT they are such a small file that they are not good quality enough to work with. So, FB would be a good resource. Thanks for the idea! |
Shelly that is why I started putting most of my photos on FB, because here they all have be sized way down so you loose quality. But I think you need to have a FB membership to see anything on FB regardless if it is public or not. Even if you do not log on it seems like it has a way of remembering that you have an account. I will see if I can get someone like my sister who does not have an account to check from her computer. For anyone that has pictures of their pups on FB they should check the settings to make sure they are public, I don't have a page for Lola but LOL she is the main part of mine and her pictures are public. |
LOL Forgot to add, Shelly if you get Lola she told me to tell you she thinks photo stuff and photo books are very cool:D:D |

I got distracted by work today while I was downloading pictures to add to Emma's album. I know that I am excited. Ive thought about a few things I'd like to pick up and I'm trying to think how to stay within budget. LOL |

I'm excited to start shopping too, I'm a little worried to start too soon though. This is my first GE so I'm still thinking about what I should get. I Wanna be the best SB I can be but I'm so nervous! I have a FB but it's super private, I don't want my MIL stalking me lol. |

Tommorow is the last day to sign up!!! :eek: then I suppose we will get our buddies on April first...the first day to send things out?!? I'm excited to find out who our buddy is :) I have admittedly done some shopping but only a little cause I really don't want to be impersonal and every bodies baby is so different! Only squeaky toys, prefers snuggly/no clothes, prefers dresses- ahhh! So hard to wait!!! :D |
I bought a few things over the weekend, got home and one item was broken, bummed cause it was the last one. I plan to be crafty, so I am itching to figure out which of the zillion projects running through my head will work best for Lola's buddy. Hmmmm budget well let's just say I have never been good sticking to ANY budget. And on top of it all, Lola winds up getting most of what her buddy gets so just double that budget:D |

Ok now the wait begins, which drives me crazy especially since most of the assignments do not happen for 5-6 days after, I hope the signup thread is closed today, if they don't that delays the buddy assignment. Not sure about all of you guys but I know some of us have a long weekend and are looking to get busy shopping or crafting during it. |

Doggie diva feels deserving- Lilah the brat! :eek: Anyone else's yorkie being a super brat? :rolleyes: cause spoiled little Lilah fancy pants sure is! Every day I come home from work- or anywhere I might have gone, lol- she is after my shopping bags, mail packages, nose shoved in my purse- she is GE crazy! :crazy: she keeps jumping into my closet, where I actually do have a buddy box and whimpering at my shelves, where I do not and better beleive me that girl is getting her share of treats outta this! :yorkieg: but omg seriously, she is getting a little nutty.... |
