LOL maybe I should adopt:D anyway I hope you understand why a max amount may take the fun away for some of us and just cause someone spends a lot does not mean they require a lot in return, I even said send Lola a ton of dollar store toys since that is what makes her the happiest. hope ya'll understand what I mean.

Before this becomes a war of the minds...I in no way care/nor condemn/nor judge/nor have any stake in my opinion...I am merely stating my opinion based on my 1 year here watching all the GE's...from the outside looking in, so to speak...I enjoy them all and love to watch...from the sidelines...(except for googoo talk that I find annoying as hell to read-sorry) just like anything there are some folks that are made for doing things like this...and some that aren't, the GE in its current format is not something I feel I can participate in, its just not my cup of tea...but I love to watch and find it very entertaining and cute...thanks...

p.s. I am always amazed at the creativity of YTers in the dress making department!

I remember the first time, as a new YT member, I saw a GE thread with people talking/writing like that....that's when I knew it probaby wasn't for me!

Well I for one am looking forward to our first gift exchange. I've already started the wheels in my heard turning and I've got some great ideas. I have picked up a few things already and I haven't kept any of my receipts..:eek: uh oh !

I can honestly say... that I plan on shopping for bargains and doing some sewing in order to stretch every dollar as far as it will go. That minimum of $40 will most definitely be hard not to exceed. But I plan on setting my own personal $ Limit .

trying to explain to family and friends why I spend so much time on yt.... as a grown woman talk to other grown women in baby talk pretending to talk for my yorkie:animal36... the looks I receive:eek: priceless

My friend Lisa hates puppy talk so of course I used to post on her threads in puppy talk just to bug her lol

I have a thing about gift giving... I can get carried away at times! I used to worry so that the boxes I sent were not "good" enough. The thing is when you work so hard, spend so much it is alway a let down when it is over. Like Christmas 3 minutes after the kids open gifts. So.. I made a pack with myself..I will do what makes me happy - if I want to make more then the mim. so be it..but I will not base my joy on what I receive. LOL saying that you have to see who my buddies have been... Cathy, Ronda, Lisa and others who were crazy generous. I will keep it real this time and just enjoy:)

I am so excited I will be posting clues or cwues as some call it. However, no baby talk for me. I do talk that like to Georgie BUT it takes so much time and effort to figure out how to spell everything I won't be typing in baby (Yorkie) talk LOL I can't wait to find out who our buddy is:D
