The next YorkieTalk Gift Exchange, YT GE XX, our twentieth Gift Exchange, will take place in May 2010. Remember that the person you are giving a gift to MAY or MAY NOT be the same person you are receiving a gift from. You MAY or MAY NOT be paired with a Yorkie of the opposite sex. There is no official theme for this GE, though if you want to give your Secret Buddy winter-related items, that is fine.

We suggest you use the US Postal Service to mail to Canada or a non-USA address (as UPS and Fedex charges additional fees).

- You are a Donating Member of YorkieTalk.

- You have 250 or more posts here at YorkieTalk (before you sign up in this thread).

- You joined YorkieTalk before February 1, 2010.

- Please do NOT send your Secret Buddy any USED toys or clothes. Re-gifting a new item you may have received is fine, but any USED items are not allowed.

Please note that the spending minimum is $25 for your Gift Exchange gift (this does not include shipping), though if you choose to spend more on your Secret Buddy, you may. Please do not expect anything more.

Here is the Gift Exchange Rules and Regulations thread. Please read it again, as there have been some changes to the rules since the last Gift Exchange. We now require all participants to be Donating Members (members that have donated $25 or more). If you are ALREADY currently a Donating Member (your usertitle shows Donating Member), this does not apply to you. We must receive your donation before you may sign up for this Gift Exchange. If you want to enter two Yorkies in this Gift Exchange, you must have donated a total of $50 or more.

Please note that you MAY receive a secret buddy in Canada (if you are in the US), and you MAY receive a secret buddy in the US (if you are in Canada). Be prepared to pay a few dollars more in shipping costs if this is the case. If you receive a secret buddy in Europe or overseas, there will be extra shipping costs, thus you will be reimbursed roughly $19 for the extra shipping. We will reimburse you via Paypal or cashier's check after the recipient receives their gift. Also, to save on shipping costs, you may want to keep the package "lighter".

This thread is ONLY for signups. Do not post any questions or anything else besides sign up in this thread. Please PM us if you have any questions.

You must already have your Yorkie (if you are a new Yorkie parent) by April 1, 2010 to participate in this Gift Exchange.

The signup period will end April 30, 2010. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period.

You may send gifts starting May 1, 2010. The deadline for sending out gifts will be June 1, 2010.

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style – Armani tries not to be picky but he does have MVD (a liver disease) and therefore treats really need to be low protein, we usually stick with something that is not meat based like Peanut Butter, sweet potato, Veggie or Cheese, sadly he does not like fruitables even though they would be perfect for him. He is also not allowed to have rawhide or greenies. He loves toys, anything that squeaks is especially fun. He will wear pretty much anything but he is ALL BOY… he prefers not to wear bows. He also likes beds, blankets, and anything else interesting that you can think of.

Yorkie's favorite colors – He likes most colors but his mommy thinks he looks good in teals, blues, greens, reds, and browns.

Armani (and I) are so excited to participate for the first time and I promise you we will be happy with anything we receive. We know we are a bit picky with treats and chews but that is only because of his health. The most important thing we want is for you to have a good time and have fun shopping for my little guy… don’t stress yourself out! If there is something special that you and your Yorkie like we would love to try it, if there is an item you just can’t live without maybe we don’t know what we are missing :D.

Maddie is a rescue i adopted about 6 months ago-and she is a very special little girl-maddie is a HUGGGGGGGGGGEEE blanket baby--if shes on the couch, shes gotta have a blanket to sleep under-if shes in bed, she gotta be under the blanket:D She is allergic to most shampoos and conditioners-biogroom is the only thing i found that agrees with her. But maddie is a sweetie and will love anything she her SB gets her!;)--we are excited to be a part of this GE!

Lots of tug of war in this house! ;) I try to stay away from bully sticks (they only get them occassionally) b/c Molly can devour a 6" within 10 mins and it tends to give her tummy problems (eek), so we prefer Himalayan Chews (or anything else that is long lasting and less fat) - it IS ok to send bullies though. Molly is VERY food motivated (as is her mommy hehe) so she will LOVE any treat you give her. I tend to even break the smallest of treats b/c I only want them to be a TINY part of their diet. I give fruits and vegetables most of the time. Clothing wise, she will wear just about anything. She does need a new pair of pjs. ;)

Additional info: Sebastian has NO clothing whatsoever. None!! I picked him for this GE because his sisters have a lot of nice stuff but he doesn't. Right now he has very long hair but I will probably shave him for the summer. He could use a bathing suit or a boy harness or a cute summer outfit. He does not get treats very often. He is 3 1/2 lbs but he is very petite. His mouth is small, everything about him is delicate. I only give him the tiny little liver training treats but I'm sure he would love something tiny like Yorkie Yummies. He hasn't had them yet but his sisters love them. He could really use a regular step in harness for walks as he hasn't one yet and has been using a pink one that used to be his mother's. Sophie is very easy going and playful! Her mommy is 12 years old, so she gets a lot of exercise and play time! We love to take walks and play fetch! Sophie comes with us a lot in the rv and boat, so travel items are always handy! She loves to cuddle and take naps in our laps, and loves giving kisses! Just have fun with the ge! Anything will be appreciated! We luv you already, secret buddy! :luvu:

Olive is teething like crazy so anything that could help with that would be great, too!
