Anyone else feeling left out? Hehe It seems like everyone else has received something from their SB....except us....and we are feeling a little left out...sorta...well maybe not....lol...just thought i would create this thread to see who else hasn't received their GE box. How many are still waiting? How many has not sent out their gifts? Just curious! lol |
We haven't received our actual box yet, but we have received two wonderful teasers! :D There was another thread that someone started on here regarding shipping, and I think that a lot of people are sending their boxes out last minute. They love to see you go crazy with anticipation. :p |
We have not received our "box" yet but we did receive a teaser from our buddy with a note saying our secret buddy was thinking of us so we do not feel left out! |

Is anyone else starting to wonder if everyone has each other? There are just so many examples of it. luckylady (Toby) had Armani Alexis (Armani) and vice versa RoscoesMommy42 (Chloe) had linda44 (Cricket) and vice versa I know there is one more set, I just can't say because technically it is still a secret...:p So maybe your buddy is LilDiddyBear? hmmm? ;) |

I wouldn't say we feel left out, because we had great fun participating in the hint threads...at least in the beginning. I think if people want to wait to send out their boxes, that's great...but at least keep giving hints until you do!!!! It's exciting to see the thank you threads, but the hint threads seem like they've almost faded to nothing, even though several are still waiting on their boxes!!! Is that the way it's supposed to be? This is only our second ge, so we're just curious!!!! Our teaser hint card did have the return address of the buddy that we sent to.....the swap idea looks pretty accurate so far!!! Hmmmmm........ |
Since this was our first GE I can use being a Newbie for my excuses or shortcomings, can't I? :cool: Seriously though, I had a great time. Our box went out on Monday and our SB should have it any time. I was a little later than I would have liked to have been in getting my box out, but still within the time frame. I loved the hint threads too but I will admit. I did get a little overwhelmed with them at first. I am addicted though. I feel like I have made some friends (which was my whole goal) and I am already looking forward to my next one. I will do a lot of things different and be more on top of my game, next time too. :D:D |

Mary, we haven't got our box yet & have NO IDEA who our buddies are. We did however receive teasers! I haven't had time to look at all the hint threads, but even if I did & have a spreadsheet going...I'd still be confused & lost! I was so busy the last few weeks that I couldn't send out our boxes til just yesterday...didn't want to kill our SB w/torturous anticipation lol! Quote:

It does appear that some planned better than others and others used a lot of online sources that take time. Besides 'life' issues that sometimes play a part and not to mention all of the wrapping (hehe - took us two long nites to wrap our goodies in tissue and then with special yorkie ribbon). But of course, this was our first and we got WAYYYYYYYYY excited and got WAYYYYYYYYYY too much stuff :D Soo hopefully our SB's wait will be worth it ;):p |
I am sure that the wait will be worth it for all of us. It is not important how much we get. I am just glad to have a SB. |
Huggs to anyone who may be feeling sad or 'left out'!! :hug: I am confident nothing was intended. Personally, I was shocked to see so many boxes being shipped so early. I had thought that most would be sent towards the end of the month - with people needing time to shop, etc. This has been soooooooooo much fun for us - just the exchange with each other online and the kinship I feel with so many already. Candy got a couple of teasers and she is still waiting for her box. We haven't mailed out ours yet. Still filling up the box! :D I don't understand why they keep putting the same people together. I thought it would be random. I would love for our SB to be ours but that sorta takes all the fun out of it if you know that you are going to have each other each time. This seems to be the norm here as the last 5 GE's we have ended up having the same SB as had us. On 2 different GE's we even had the SAME PERSON!! Seems like a lazy way to put it together. The first time was cute but every time??? If this is the case, why does it take 3 days to get the names put together?? Just saying...not complaining as we LOVE GE's!!! Be patient SB!! We will probably be mailing on Monday, the deadline. Life happens here! LOL!! |
Well we got our box and teasers but were still having fun watching everybody else open their boxes. Im glad everyone sends them out at different times, it prolongs the fun! All you guys are great, I am totally addicted. :) |
