It is so amusing that grown women can get so excited over secret buddies. It's a good thing though.....shows we're not dead yet...LOL

It does make me wonder though if I should "create" a bit more excitement in my life....hmmmm...LOL

No, guess not...my heart probably couldn't take it. It's better to stick wth this and draw it out over a month but boy I never realized what an impatient person I really am. I had my doubts about my level of patience but even I had underestimated this flaw.

My son needed dog food...how convenient was that...and of course we had to stop into PetsMart who just happened to be having a great sale on lil' toys...oh, did I have a blast...some lil' :aimeeyork-SB is gonna be a squeakin'...that's all I'm gonna say...hahaha!

You know what I enjoy, too?

I spend several "hours" (no joke...hours) reading past posts from the SB to discover the mama behind the Yorkie....LOL (I hope I'm not being sexist here by thinking that all the GE participant owners are female.)

Anyway, I feel like a grown-up Nancy Drew or such and try to scope out some really obscure things about my SB that might give me some clues and add some intrigue.

Of course, it can backfire. I misread Christina's comment about her last college class and thought it meant she was graduating. Duh....evidently the terminology has changed since I was in college. She only meant her last class for that semester! Oh well, she still got lots of sweet congratulations that she graciously accepted without telling everyone that whoever had her had a screw loose...LOL

I can't imagine how I get things so twisted! I thought Sarah was a really "new" newlywed. In fact, I was really impressed that in the middle of wedding preparations, she put together a classy GE box for us. Turns out she's been married a couple of years!

I wonder sometimes if I'm turning ditzy in my old age. It does tend to make things rather interesting around here...LOL

I do the same thing. :) Bella's first GE buddy was a nurse like me...I was so excited because it was nurse's week so I sent a little something special. :D

Just incase Admin forgot...it's past midnight in CA and this makes it Monday, 8/3/09...sooooo, today would be a nice day to receive a little pm...maybe with a SB-:aimeeyork-name & info to keep us GE-:aimeeyork-Momma's from going CRAZY...just saying!:rolleyes:
