Who is ready for ge signs ups in april

This will be my first time for GE, I read where you have to spend a min. of $20.00. From the threads and pictures it looks like a lot more. I wouldn't want to offend someone by sticking to $20.00, and people do spend more. Any suggestions? When you sign up and get your pup to buy for do you get a list of things they like, how do you know what to buy? Example size.

Yes YT members put their heart into the gift exchange thats what i love about it =D. yes 20 is the minimum but its up to you if you want to spend a little bit more. Yt members get lots of stuff from sellers on YT. Some stores lieke Walmart, Petsmart(sometimes), Target , etc have really cute stuff I heard. When you sign up you will get your secret buddy and they will list the info you need to know. hope this helped its my first time signing up too =D

No worries, sign ups will run for a while. I am sure you can come up with 53 posts over the next couple of weeks or so. Can't you? Respond to me here and that is one more down! It will me my first one too even though I have a gazillion posts.

To OP -- I think I am going to participate this time. I have never done it before. But I think I could use some fun. I have always enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures and descriptions. I might have mentioned before, Ben is a "me, me, me" dog so he will enjoy it for sure. He thinks every toy in the world belongs to him already. Took me a while to train him to understand that my grandson's toy box was off limits. But if I happen to leave one out, it becomes Ben's.

To the OP, oh yes, I am excited once again for another gift exchange!!!!! I've been watching and wondering when the signups were going to start, then finally I checked the sign up thread for the last one and saw the timelines for the ge's for the rest of the year. I've taken part in 5 GE's now and have loved every single one of them!

I hope,hope,hope we can do the GE this time. We are very exited! I did read that you have to be a member for a month along with the 100 posts. I sure hope we make it????? We just got here in March!
This is what it read----
"We also require you to be a member of YorkieTalk for one month or longer as well as have at least 100 posts on YorkieTalk. This is so that members can get to know you and your Yorkie better".

I knew that you had to be a member for a certain amount of time.......

I looked at the sign up thread for the January GE and that one said you had to be signed up by Dec. 2008. My theory is, with sign ups beginning on April 1st, seems that going by the rule of having to be a member for a month (and at least 100 posts), that you would have had to be a member since March 2009 for this next one.
Just my theory/me guessing...........check with the admin or the sign up thread when it comes out next week to be sure.

I think sign ups start April 1st and they normally run for a month, so you should have til the end of April to get your 100 posts and then sign up.

i love GE's but i don't know if i can afford this time around... i mean i have most of the stuff in my spare bedroom...but shipping is what gets me...hehe
