Does anyone know when we get our SB??? I'm so excited.....

And we have almost 40 signed up...I think this will be a FUN GE!!

I did find out that we're supposed to get our SB on or by Tuesday!

If my memory serves me right, I'm guessing we will have our SB's either late tonight or tomorrow........via a PM from the admin.

Keep in mind, I'm not as young as I used to be and my mind could be going :rolleyes:, so I'm not 100% sure. But give or take a day and I'm sure we'll all be out shopping for our buddies!:D

LOL thats what i was thinking they did on the last one that we got it late that night early the next morning!

Yah i put Bailey in it for her second one and i put her mom in for her first one. My mom put maverick in and a friend that got their brother put Spicee in! :p

Its going to be SOOOO much fun just cant wait to know who we all have! :D

Since this is my first GE, can anyone tell me ....

Do we keep our buddy "secret"?

Do we get new buddies during the year or keep the same ones throughout the GE?

Can we send little gifts whenever we want during the year or just every three months?

Can we get the birth dates of the owner and the pup?

I read thru the FAQ and other postings on the GE thread and I didn't see any ??? like these.

Hope someone can give me some info.

1. Yes, you keep the buddy you get a secret. Many GE participants will start "hint" threads; giving hints as to who their secret buddy may be; though we try hard NOT to give it away.

2. The SB you get for this gift exchange is only for this one time. Not every signs up for every GE, so should you decide to sign up again for the next GE, or the next, etc, you will get a different secret buddy each time.

3. Since each GE is different, with different buddies, you will only send your GE buddy gifts during this particular gift exchange. You can however send little gifts anytime between the time you get your buddy and the cut off period (probably the end of February), but that will end up costing you more shipping charges.

4. When you get your the name of you secret buddy, you can go to their profile page. Some have their birthdays listed on it on the "about me" tab, and their yorkies age (but not birthd date) is listed in their GE sign up post. But you can't come right out and ask them since you supposed to keep your secret buddys name............as secret.:p

also if you have any questions for your buddy pm admin and they will contact your buddy and get the answers to you!

Here is what the rules say about when we get the secret buddy

"The signup period will end Janunary 31, 2009. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period."

I can't wait either!

That reminds me... I better start getting working on my spreadsheet... LOL I want to follow through this time and work hard on figuring out my SB through the Hint Threads....LOL:p

Starla...can we get our SB's anytime of the day?? Cuz I thought if we didn't get them in the a.m.. then we have to wait until tomorrow a.m. Or am I wrong?? :rolleyes:

For those that dont know my mom has been calling me and sending me messages asking and telling me that we have not received our buddies yet. LOL this is her first GE and she saw Baileys last time....LOL so for her asking and telling me for the last few days i sent her a PM saying something like
