Who hasn't started or just started shopping?
 
I have just started shopping!:eek: I looked for things while on vacation but didn't really come across anything.

I am hoping to get everything bought and mailed off by this end of the week.

I've been done for a few days. Fedex just picked up the package. Shouldn't be too long before our SB gets it. :D

i was done prior to the GE buddy names given...only had to go get a few out things to make it personal...heeh

Geeeezzzz...thanks, now I really feel like poo poo...going out tonight to hopefully get it all done...or maybe tomorrow too!

don't feel bad...hehe...i used to be one of the last one to get done...always shipping out last day...but now after 4 GE's i have it down...whenever i see a good deal i stock up with fillers...then when the GE finally comes around and we get our names...i usually go buy 1 or 2 things on their list and added in a couple of fillers...hehe...trust me i clear Target out of their red dot section up front when they have dog stuff...hehe

I'm still waiting on 3 things coming from 3 different places...:rolleyes: hopefully, they will all be here by end of week. I already bought a few things that are ready to go....I'm getting anxious and want my buddy to get their gift soon!!!....besides, I need to send or else I'm going to keep shopping...:p Hopefully, I'll be able to send by early next week..

I'm waiting on things from 2 different places, and I'm hoping I'll have them by the end of NEXT week (things take awhile to get here from the US!) and after work today I am going shopping for more :)

LOL...yes, you have company...these early birds are really making us look bad :p...I hope my buddy doesn't start getting too worried...we do have until the end of the month at least so that give us 2 1/2 more weeks to go(well if you're not too far from your buddy anyways...hehehe)! ;)

Well...I like to keep our GE Buddy waiting :biggrin: Mwahahaha -- just kidding...we always wait until we get our GE Buddy information before we start shopping...and then, most of the items are always ordered...so, we don't ship out for awhile....as we are still waiting on items to come in.

Just a question... the rule is the box needs to be SENT by the end of the month right? Not recieved? I'm a little far from my buddy and it just takes quite a while for me to get the special gifts I ordered... It will definitely be SENT as soon as I get everything, but I can't guarantee when it will be received. I hope my SB is patient!

it has to be postmark but the end of the month...not receive...hehe

Well, the rules state they should be sent out by Aug 29th so I guess Postmarked the 29th (a Friday) is good. So some may not get theirs until the 1st week in Sept.....

That is what I am doing for the most part..it just makes it a little more personal if you can get some things that are on the buddie's wish list..I ordered a couple things but having these people mail them to my buddie when I send mine out so I am not held up waiting on a parcel to come to canada only to have to go back to the states.. yup our buddie is in the states..LOL

Anne... that's a good idea to have the extra stuff sent right to them! Unfortunately I couldn't resist ordering things for my own baby at the same time :)

Also, if you have an issue w/ the date or mailing....make sure you PM Admin so they can be aware of it and so they can let your GE Buddy be aware of it as well.

Great! Hopefully everything won't take a month to get here, but I guess you never know with the border!

I am sure it will be fine.....and in the GE rules, it is stated that packages coming from other countries may take longer...so, I know your GE Buddy will not mind the wait (if there is one)! :love-hug1 --- I know I wouldn't!:thumbup:

Oh hon, no worries there. Leo and I have been waiting for our company to leave. I am doing my shopping tomorrow and getting it in the mail by friday afternoon. I have a few things ready but not enough. I've been fighting just to find all the school supplies the kids need.. that's a mad house!!

We haven't started exactly... I bought some supplies because we are going to make some things. But we are going to go this weekend and do some SERIOUS toy purchasing. LOL!

P.S. Somebody remind me on Friday to MAKE sure and get a box!

We are still waiting on one item! And we hope it will come soon! Can't wait to post the box, we've had so much fun shopping for our buddy and we hope they will like their presents!

I've ordered several items that are being handmade for Doogan's Buddy and of course, they all are coming in from the States from 3 different vendors. So for me it's a waiting game with Customs and Canada Post and then it's a frantic dash back to the post office to mail if far, far, far, far away.

I'm really just getting started. I have a couple of places I will be ordering from tomorrow. One place I ordered from a week ago and the pkg was shipped - but it is still not here :(:confused: -- I have just a few things - life has been very hectic the last 2 weeks - I sure hope our buddy is patient!

I agree, it is a hectic time with school soon starting, soccer practice starting(one of which I am coaching), vacation, and just life its hard to stop long enough to go out and get everything...I am just about done but couldn't for the life of me find two things on my sb's list!

We shop everyday for our buddies -sooo spoiled - we hope they like everything -- mom is a shopper girl --her motto -she who dies with the most doggie stuff wins -lol

I might have you beat :rolleyes: - the other day, I decided I needed to make a word document listing all the extra doggie stuff I have. Next GE, I'll have lots of basics - just will need to see the specifics our buddy wants & needs
