My grandmother used to quilt and I really regret that I didn't ask her to teach me. I love to do hand sewing. My mom gave me a Double Wedding Ring quilt that grandma made by hand. It's stunning!!

Thanks! Hand quilting maybe a dying art. I realize I am blessed to know how to quilt. I'm interested in machine quilting. In fact, I'm gearing up to give it a shot.

Do you care to share what stabilizers you use on what fabric? I still get puckers in my appliques.

We made a new dress today. And I actually sewed lots of it pretty exciting stuff. We also made two tag blankets for my dd baby due first of August. This is very addicting

Looks Great!! That butterfly is the same one I did as my first project on my embroidery machine. I made both of my girls dresses. Great minds think alike.
