| I was wondering which way you sewers prefer to do the velcro on the under belly of the bodice on a dogs dress. Now that I have had a chance to buy from a lot of different seamstresses LOL I have formed some strong opinions. 1. I like a slim line (narrow type) underbelly especially for clothes to be worn in the summer, Lola gets hot easily so the less fabric the better 2. I like the velcro to run horizontally under the belly because it seems to give the most adjustment for the best fit I order a fair amount from Bella's Prissy Puppie her stuff is well made and her prices especially her specials are really really good. The last four dresses she made for Lola were swimming on her, so I thought she made them larger, but measuring them against past dresses from her I found they were the same. I then took Lola to get weighed thinking she lost weight, but she was the same weight as when we started buying from her. Low and behold I figured out why last night and can't believe I did not catch this sooner, she changed from running her velcro horizontally to vertically. This small change made the last four dresses unwearable for Lola I am not sure why she made this change, since the amount of velcro she uses seems about the same. I sent her an email letting her know that I am mailing her the dresses so she can make the change. I was very nice about it and I hope I don't seem unreasonable. Some others of your order from her, has this change affected the way your dogs clothes fit?

| Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I have some new stuff coming from her this week I believe. I will have to see if the fit is different for KS. I sure hope not. I too have spent a lot of money with Bella's. I love her work. Her dresses always look so cute on Miss KS. I like to order from different vendors too. I haven't bought much in a while. I need to get back to it. LOL. When I sew, I usually do my Velcro horizontally. I never really thought about it, but I think I do it that way because the pattern I use calls for it that way. But now the very first pattern I tried, which I no longer use, calls for the velcro to be vertical.

| check your stuff from her to see if they are all the same, she told me to send them back and she will fix them. Her reason for the change tended to baffle me, she said she did that because when she looked at it she thought it might not fit the other way. To me the other way (horizontal) gives you a better fit, since you can go tighter or looser. But I did not want to split hairs, I just was happy she will fix it so Lola can wear the dresses. I can't believe all you sewers don't have a preference.

| I was totally disappointed in Jacque's work. Waited ages for the dresses and the proportions were whacked out and did not fit Luma in the slightest. Will never buy from her again. Glad yall like her though, I agree horizontal velcro is what I prefer too.
