Lola is somewhere over 30 but under 50, she has few hats and bows to match but no jewelry. Except for her cute little harness dresses she hardly wears her clothes. It's been an extremely warm summer and she gets hot easily, so I feel bad putting clothes on her. Plus on our walks and when we go outside in our yard she often goes for a swim so I don't want her stuff getting wet. One thing I don't understand is why so many of you put PJ's on your pups. Our house is never freezing at night and dogs seem to be warmer than humans. So since clothes can tend to knot their hair up, it seems like a waste to me, but I know so many do it so there must be a reason. |
I just love these posts! They make me feel so much more normal, though I know I have a problem. - How often does your yorkie wear clothes? I dress my girls daily. It is just part of their routine. - Does s/he usually have accessories to match? My bow addiction is almost as bad as my clothing addiction, but in terms of other accessories, they do have a ton of harnesses and leashes, some sunglasses, jewelry, etc, but bows are the worst offender. - What are your methods for fabric care? Delicate cycle and hang dry and there are some items I only spot treat and handwash. There are some things that I'd never wash, so they have to behave like ladies when they wear them. - How often do you shop/sew clothes for your yorkie? I wish I could sew! I probably buy stuff monthly, but I'm trying to cut down. They already have more than they could wear in a year without repeating if I count all their playclothes and holiday clothes. I took these right before we moved when I was about to pack up and wanted to get organized: Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More Trust me when I say it's much worse in person, and it's grown. |
Wow, Rory and Lane have quite the wardrobe, it's had to imagine all of those clothes..Love it though. I liked the dog blog too. |
My Xena has about 8 hoodies, a few winter coats, a few sweaters and a new raincoat. I buy all of her items at baxterboo.com She wears clothing outside in Winter Spring and Fall but never in the summer. No dresses or bows for her. (well maybe 1bow) I shop about once a month. She is a little rescued Yorkie so all of the things she missed in her 6 years I try to make up for. Sadly she does not know how to play with toys or I would be spending a lot on them also. |
I can't count that high...:p |
We had a closet full of dresse but half of them went with Molly to her new home so now I have to get busy making more. Molly's new Mom gave me her address so I can still send Molly clothes. : ) |

HAUTE DOGGIE!!! How to turn an Amoire into a Closet for your darling Fashionesta!!! 1 Attachment(s) I am so happy to have found this site. This must be the place to post about fashion clothes and accessories for Yorkies... I too love to dress my baby and I have an amoire closet filled with clothes... It does not have to be a puppy, but we desire one under 5 yrs of age. We don't want to breed. We are believing God has just the right one for us. If you can think of anything here is our number 772-621-9951. donnatrex@ yahoo.com We have looked into rescue's and such and we have our applications in there, I hope you will visit my site ... I have 18 blogs all with different themes. One is just for dogs.. called Haute Doggie!!! My yorkie has 3 clothes and actually she don't wear clothes inside the house but when we are going to mall she always at her fashion and she is very cute when people cuddles her much. |
I didn't count, but I know its more than 100. We only dress the pups during the cooler months and holidays/special occasions. But I buy clothes constantly. I love custom made clothes most. I think I indeed have an addiction to matching custom outfits for my two. |
lots m bizkit has around 70 otfits, I love making him clothes all the time |
Looking forward to the orange pet expo in april. I 've doubled last years budget for shopping. Since I'll be there all.3 days for pet adoptions I just can't resist, although the last few hours they usually discount their clothing. If I could find the time I would sew more. They still have more clothes than I do. By the way, where do you get their hangers? I keep the ones that come with the clothing but still.don't have enough, have no idea what happens to them. I have baby hangers but they're to big for Elvis and Izzy's clothes. |
