My thread order took 49 hours to get from Texas to Maryland... now it will sit for 4 days and it's only 30 minutes away! Lolololol! JoAnne's has 50% off on stabilizers and velcro and all notions, online... The Good news or the bad??? Okay, the Good: I got my machine to embroider...Yay! Now for the bad: The software didn't load till about the 4th time I tried it... but we're good now. You have to have the machine plugged into the PC to open the program. Good news: After it is open, you can unplug the machine and pick out your design and edit it, the program stays functional till you close it. More bad: Do not try to embroider any clothes you like until you get the hang of it, lol. I now have a t-shirt with my initials on it, with a hole under the initials where I tried to add a flower, lol. I reduced a design, and forgot to reduce the number of stitches which = holes! Haha! (That was with a heavy stabilizer under it too! Kind of shredded that, lol) Still loving it though! :D |

2 Attachment(s) Thought I'd add a pic, lol! Now it doesn't look like a hole or I am blind.... it did get sucked into the machine so I stopped it.... Attachment 369760 Attachment 369761 I have a newfound respect for those who can do this... I can see it's going to take a lot of practice... |

Keep practicing so you'll be a pro when I start learning. Tee hee! ;). |

I do freehand embroidery on my sewing machine. You are probably already doing this but the two things that I do that makes things easier for me are 1. stablizer such as stitch and tear or tear-away,2. I baste the stablizer to the fabric,it seems to keep the fabric from moving around on the stablizer. Best of luck! Im looking forward to seeing your creations. |

My thread arrived... except for the rayon... I called the company and they're sending it right out! It's hard trying to remember everything... all the important stuff like what was that dial for and what does that green (orange, yellow, etc.) light mean? On the other side, I am getting proficient at sewing while holding the manual in one hand...lol! Oh and where oh where did my feed dogs go? And what is this thingy for??? Hehehe! Major major brain cramping here! |

1 Attachment(s) I finally did a decent design...yay! My daughter picked out this hamburger design and I embroidered it on her t-shirt. I think I might be ready to try this on some of my doggie clothes....more to come. I'm starting to get excited but this sure is a lot of work. |

I've been playing with some of the feet and attachments, I made 2 button holes, and tried some ruffling and pleating. |

I tried the gathering foot for ruffles but I didn't get a good result, so I used a ruffler off my treadle Singer machine... it fit and worked perfectly! |
