Clothes for a Micro Ellie needs really cute clothes but she is so small that even baby doll clothes won't fit. I've looked for someone who sold them but I can't find anyone and I want to be prepared for the winter. |
There's a bunch of us YTers that make custom items :D Here's the link to the For Sale forum: Yorkie Products For Sale - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community and the sticky with all the stores listed: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ore-sites.html Have fun shopping & welcome to YT! |
What size would you need? Ive got 3 patterns for xxs clothing. I have 1 for harnesses that could be a harness, have a tutu attached for a tutu dress, or have fabric for a skirt attached to make a dress that states it is for digs 1.5 to 3 pounds, with a chest of 8-10 inches. That same pattern has the nect size up if thats too micro. Then I have one that has 3 styles of dresses in it that states it is suitable for dogs with a body length of 8-10 inches and chest 15-18 inches. Then I have another that had a few dresses, a shirt with long sleeves, a nightgown, and a bikini (although you probably wouldn't need a bikini in the winter...lol) that states x small is a neck of 6-8, girth of 8-10, length of 8-10, and approx weight of 2-4 pounds. I also have patterns for leg warmers and scarves. And coats too. Anything particular you have in mind? If you'd like, I could make something for you. Hope that helps. Good luck on your search! :) |
I also can make ruffle butt pantsuits in xxs too. |
Thought of something else for you...look up Bella's prissy puppie boutique on Facebook. She makes beautiful dresses. I have bought from her many times. She has different styles available and takes special orders too. She has fabric albums so you can choose your fabric and then let her know what type of outfit you want with the fabric. I believe she is having a special this weekend too. She's on Facebook. |

If you go to the stuffed bear area they have little sweaters and shirts. Some times Hobby Lobby has them as well. |

After what this little girl has gone through and how wonderful Sweetdreams was to adopt her, I would like to buy her a dress or two. There are some wonderfully talented gals on here, so if any on you are reading this please let me know if you have some scrap fabric and the time to make a few dresses and I will send you some money to cover you time and postage. |

I read the story about this poor little girl and her brother, so sad but she is such a little Doll. I can make tiny dresses, if you can let me know the measurements I will make a couple of dresses for you, no charge. I can also make flannel dresses lined with flannel for the Winter. Feel free to send me a pm with the info and what colors/prints you are looking for. We can even make her a tutu dress if you want! |

I meant to say in my original post that I would make you a few things for free as well. I love helping out and giving back to people, so feel free to send me a pm too if you'd like. :) |
What size is she again? Ahi has a bunch of dresses from spring and summer that she wore only once or twice. She will never wear them again as she has out grown them. I was thinking of selling them but i'm too lazy for that so if they are her size I will send them to you. :) I will posts pics tomorrow for you. (well it's probably tomorrow already for you...so later today) ;) hehe |
3 Attachment(s) Here are the pics as promised! The dresses are all XXXS. They fit 7-9" chest. They are from The Doggie Closet. XXXS New Spring Pink Butterfly Dog Dress clothes teacup items in The Doggie Closet store on eBay! The pj's are even smaller. I'm thinking Ahi was about 1 1/2 pounds at the time. Let me know if you can use any of these. :) |

Hi everyone, I am so sorry I have not posted, My daughter had surgery Sunday and we just got home. I am at a loss for words at everyone's kindness. I am going through the messages now so bare with me lol. Thank you for everything!!!!! |
I will measure Ellie when my spouse wakes up because she is sleeping with Ellie |
You all are so amazing, I am crying reading these posts because your kindness is beyond words. When ever I attempt to explain to anyone how much I love that little girl I cannot find the words and they think I am crazy. The only ones who completely understand is fellow yorkie lovers such as you all. You all have completely made me at a loss for words. It is true I have spent a lot of money for her care (including the er Tuesday) but it is so worth it and I would do it all over again. I will get Ellie's measurements as soon as she wakes up. Thank you all for everything, I mean it, all your support and kindness is not something you see often anymore.:heart to |
You are most definitely welcome. We just love that you are taking care of such a fragile little girl. By the way...where in Ft. Worth are you from? My mother lives in Flower Mound and we visit her every so often. :) |
Yay! I can't wait to see her measurements and make something tiny! If she is anywhere near Katie Scarlett, I'll send some of her older (but still nice) dresses too that she can wear for play or just around the house. But I would like to make her something nice for you. |
OK here is munckin's measurements, let me know if I am missing something please :) Length 9 inches (From neck to the beginning of her tail) neck is 6 inches Chest and belly is 8 inches |
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Quote:

I just wanted to say that all of the kindness in this thread warms my heart! You all are so generous and loving to this little one, and it sounds like all of the love is headed to a little one who deserves it so much! Can't wait to see how proud, and of course adorable, Ellie will look in her new special cloths :) |

I have recently found that preemie pajama's work great for little girls/boys!! I have bought baby clothes for my bigger girl (around 9lbs) Joli before (usually 0-3 month t-shirts worked great), but I tried newborn dresses for Somi and they are usually two wide at the bottom and look kinda like a moo moo. BUT I found some adorable preemie pajamas at Marshal's or Ross or somewhere like that and HAD to try them. I cut the feet off and a "pee hole" and they work great and seem to keep her warm and cozy!! The ones with the zipper that I have, have a little triangle sewn area near her tail that was PERFECT to cut out for her pee hole. And I got some really cute ones off of ebay that ended up being a little smaller and they had buttons that go down both legs, and just leaving some of the buttons on the legs open the private areas were open. They also have little panda's on the feet, so I only cut a slit in the seeming for her legs instead of cutting the feet off. I hope you get lots of cute (and practical) clothes to keep your furbaby warm! :) |
