Dress Making Attempt #2

It is kind of hard to read, or it was to me. Kathy helped me out A LOT!!! She even took pictures of the steps in the other thread I had posted! I am not sure why, but the top of her dress looks different than mine. I don't know if I followed something wrong or what. But on this dress, it does have the full piece under the bottom, not just the 2 straps. I'll have to take a pic of the underside to share.

Thanks Aymee, I'll have to give this one a try. Maybe you had better share Kathy's steps with me...LOL. I'm definitely not a seamstress, but I'm determined to keep plucking along

thanks aymee i have now purchased some patterns and i am going to try and do this as well. they were on clearance...i can sew just have never used patterns or made clothes this small but im gonna try!! you inspired me. well see how far i get. hehe.

Here is the link to the posts where Kathy helped me. I was having trouble with a few of the steps on the pattern and she did a little tutorial for me. It helped me out SOOOO much!!!!!

yes i love sewing......my craft room is not all in one spot i just have to organize everthing..working on that this week and will hopefully be sewing by the weekend!!!! i will certainly share and thanks for the links....

Oooh! I NEED IT! How cute is that! I am planning on working with my current pattern mix I have going on a bit more for practice. But I did read over and cut out the pattern for another style last night. As soon as I can get to the fabric store and get goodies, I may try it. It's a bit fancier. But that pattern you posted would be another great one to try!!! Thanks for sharing that!
