He is just too cute. What a little doll.
My little Gabby who is 13 weeks is teething as well, those little teeth are sharp. One of her ears is up and the other is down.

To answer the color questions, they do change colors as they grow. The tan turns gold. The black can change to Blue or stay black.

Since he is 1.7# at 8 weeks, the charts say he will be about 5-5.5# as an adult.

awww thats cool so you dont really know what they will look like til they get older. love it! k even if you sell him you have to post pics i just totally love him for some reason lol. you know how it is when you instantly fall in love:)

I posted some pictures in the YT nursery on Cruiser about 2 weeks ago--he is almost 7 months old--take a look to see how the coat changes and the colors too.

Probably should post some new ones on Beauty too. She looks like a littler version of her mama, Judy.

Everyone should have puppy fever.....should have some new news at the beginning of the month for you.

He is such a cuties; he reminds me of a little mouse with "ears".

Dee - Evan is SUCH a little munchkin!! He looks like a real sweetheart. You know, it's my birthday on Wednesday and my BIGGEST wish is to have a Biewer. Do ya think anybody would make my wish come true????? ;)

It's 'Connie' and yes, yes, yes...you guys could come up with some treasures for a yard sale for me so I can snatch up that little Evan!! I want him sooooo bad! Don't you think he'd make a nice addition to my 'team furry'?? Then I'd have 2 boys and 2 girls. Even - steven!! :D

I'm working on the hubby 'cause my birthday is Wednesday. I'm going to take him to a B&B in Galena, IL for the next three days to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. Do think that there's SOMETHING I can do to get him let me take Evan home? ;) Of course I can't move like I used to because my almost 56 year-old muscles won't let me but I'm sure I can improvise:p :p

So for any of you who are so inclined....start sending good thoughts my way because sometimes husbands are soooooo hard to convince what's good for them. And I think Evan would be REALLY good!!

Here are pictures from yesterday.

The babies are all so darling! Now I think my next yorkie will be a Biewer! They're so beautiful! I have a dumb question though. How come their tails don't get docked (and why do the regular Yorkies do?). Are their temperments generally the same as the other Yorkies? I want a companion for my Max; I know he'd love a little sister (or maybe even a brother).

Biewers are German registered. Europeans have stopped docking tails and ears. The standard calls for a tail. So they have tails--and they are really cute with their tails.

Personality-wise I find most of the Biewers are not as yippy as Yorkies. They are calmer and so sweet. The Biewers are friendly and great lap dogs as well as they play well with the other dogs in the house.

Thank you Dee~ now I have a REALLY dumb question! Do the Yorkies normally have their ears docked? None of this makes any difference to me, that I can think of, b/c I'm never going to show my pets, so it's only for information's sake. I remember once when Max was just groomed, it was the first time I noticed that the tips of his ears weren't pointed and I KNEW the groomer obviously didn't cut his eartips off, so, I guess I just never noticed it before. Is that b/c his ears were docked? I thought I was totally missing something.

Regardless, Biewers sound like the perfect companion here; Max is very calm and quiet and is content to just sit in my lap or lie in bed with dh when he's home. I've been bugging dh for another Yorkie so that Max has a playmate (other than me:) )...I just think everything should have at least one other like it.....but he's afraid that Max will feel rejected, b/c he is the center of our universe (and I think he knows it, LOL). I'll have to start showing him your photos of your dogs and work on him. They always say that pets aren't a good idea for Christmas gifts, but I think it would be the PERFECT and most FABULOUS gift I can imagine:D .

Yorkies ears are not cropped!! Any breed of dogs coming from Europe aren't being docked anymore.

I love this breed. I have met some really wonderful folks with this breed.

The joy of these dogs are beyond description.
