Tinkerbell's Litter Born 9/17/2007!!!
 
Here is some back ground information....

Tinkerbell is 3 years old and this is her first litter. Five were born alive and healthy. 2 girls and 3 boys. She had one naturally and a c-section for the last four. The smallest boy passed away after 24 hours. :( The mother is doing great and having fun with her four little ones.

There are so many pictures that I am not able to upload them all so here is the website that I will keep undated with photos. They are much better quality too from here. Enjoy.

Puppies, how absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to watch them grow.

I am so sorry to hear that one little boy passed away. You did a great job with her. Hope all the rest are doing well and stay healthy!

Thank you and I have been hoping you would be able to post after seeing the video. What a good Momma and the babies are just precious. Makes me grimace though when their paws are on her incision - ouch! Warmly, Deborah

Yes I know what you mean. She does not seem to mind. The two smaller ones are really rough in my point of view when it comes to feeding. If a baby did to me what those babies are doing to her, I think that I would be bottle feeding. Maybe that is why they are so small????:confused: Just a thought. LOL

The picture of her carrying one of her babies is the cutest I have ever seen in my life. She goes through welping her babes and still as pretty as a picture and the bow still in her hair. It's that proud sweet look on her face.

Those pups are active haha !!!!!

She is beautiful and the babes are adorable! I love how she lays on her back a lot while feeding. I had to turn Tiah on her back after her c-section because the pups weren't nursing off the bottom two teats for some reason. Watch for her staples to start coming loose/out. Sorry to hear of the one you lost:( . It really is a beautiful litter you have there!

Thank you so much. The reason she is so pretty is because she had blood all over in her hair after the c-section and it was just wrong to look at her and the babies eating off of that. So I gave her a bath and made her all cute again. The puppies do a number on her hair, but she is still doing very good with her long hair.

Thank you. She is so cute when she is feeding on her back. With the staples....I don't see any stamples on Tinkerbell. I think that she is sewn up. The back teets are the ones that they go after first!!! When did you have your litter? And how many did you have?

Awww that's right she had a c-section, well still Tink how can you look so pretty when your stitches hurt you. (bath or no bath LOL)

Her c-section was last September. I don't know why the vet chose staples, we didn't even discuss it. We had a c-section because Tiah went WAY overdue and the pups moved BACK OUT of the birth canal and were all over the place again. You could see Tiah's staples plain as can be....about 10 of them. Oh, she healed SOOOOOO nicely! You can't even tell. She had 4 pups and all survived. ......and......she had a litter naturally last month (3 boys and a girl). She had no complications whatsoever. I skipped a heat as they recommend after a c-section and she is healthy as can be. I'll attach a picture of her belly about a week before she actually had the babies and the c-section....

She never did get sick or have any complications. I hope all goes as well for your beautiful girl. I did rub her belly every day (about twice) to keep it clean (just warm water on a wash cloth). That's Tiah and Grammy in the second picture.

They are almost 5 days old and already moving around all over the place with their eye still shut. LOL. They are truely rugrats!!!:D
