weight? how much does Judy weigh? dad? adorable! |
Oh my gooooooodness they are getting cuter and cuter by the week!!!! They are just wonderful, I will continue to be watching them grow with excitement! :D |
We are 4 weeks old today!!! 4 Attachment(s) Hello everyone, The puppies are four weeks old today and look at how much they have changed from last week!!! They are walking, well most of them are walking the little boy has a tubby tummy to lift so he is not walking as well as the girls are right now but he is trying LOL!!!:) I put them on a blanket three or four times a day to get exercise and learn to use their little legs a little better. Girl one started getting out of their box last week so I had to make some changes to it. Yesterday she was howling because she wanted out....howling at 4 weeks old. Can you believe that?? I have a feeling she is going to be quite a go getter. Girl Three and Girl Two like to be out and walking and looking at my other dogs. You should have seen the noses through the expen I have around Judy's box yesterday when the puppies were out walking. It was so cute they are so curious about the puppies. Soon they will all be playing together. Mom weighs about 8 pounds and Dad was around 4 to 5 pounds so it will be interesting to see how the puppies weights change as they continue to grow! |
They are adorable, getting so chubby!:p |
They are white, i never saw a white yorkie? Are they mixed? |
The puppies are Biewer Yorkshire Terriers. They are purebred yorkies that originated in Germany. They are very new to the United States. If you do a search on the history of the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier you will learn all about them. Let me know what you think after you look them up. Pam |
oh wow i just looked it up....they are soooooooo cute!!! Wow i love them:) |
They are adorable!!! Then again, I haven't seen an "ugly" yorkie... :) (of any kind!) |
They are all just G O R G E O U S.... BUT, I have to say Girl #3 is my FAVORITE!! Her face is just preious!!! I dont see how you are going to be able to let them go... you have to have become attached... |
I also like girl #3...they are cuties... :p |
omg they are getting soooo big!!! i love them. I so wish i could get another puppy right now. i think the little boy is my fav of the litter, but don't get my wrong, they are all soo cute! |
Thankyou.. I just found this thread and its wonderful how you've shared you're babies changes every week. They are all beautiful. I'll be back in hopes of seeing more weekly pictures. I think we are all interested and in love with these beautiful dogs. |
I do have a problem becoming attached to the babies. Just ask Ilovebailey or muffinluver they have met me when they picked up their new babies and I bawled. Coco left then Angel within two weeks I was absolutely lost. One thing I have always done is give the puppies little nicknames. I don't do it on purpose it just happens based on their personality as they grow. Most of the time they know their nickname and don't know their given name. Im trying very hard not to do that with these babies. In Germany they name the babies when they register them and Kathy and I have stayed with the German standard on the Biewers. We are tossing around names now that begin with the letter B. In Germany they also follow the letters of the alphabet to track their litters so we are staying with that too. Week four to five has always been my favorite week. They start doing so much that week and they are so much fun! |

This may also be a stupid question... Do you know yet what you are going to charge for them? SHOOT... I dont know what the heck I am thinking... I am sure they are all sold already, they are too precious not to be. Just thought I would ask. |
Biewer are bred to Biewers. Sometimes to a splitter (1/2 Biewer, 1/2 Yorkie genes)--but that is more complicated to explain. Pam & Kathie's puppies are adorable and really white. I can't wait until mine get to that age. Now they just look like minature Holstein cows. LOL |
Breeding Biewer to Biewer Question You breed Biewer to Biewer but it is believed if you only breed Biewer to Biewer you will start to loose the color in your puppies. If you breed a half Biewer female also known as a splitter to a Biewer male the offspring will be a mixed litter. You will have some puppies that look like Biewers and some that look like standard yorkies. The female puppies that look like standard yorkies are known as splitters. Usually in a mixed litter like this the males that look like standard yorkies are sold as pets and the females are sold as breeders/splitters if they are breed quality puppies. If you breed a Biewer female to a standard male you will get standard puppies or that is what we have seen so far when we were studying the breed before we bought our first Biewer. Biewers are controversial in Germany and in the United States. People do not agree on many topics from whether you should breed Biewer to Biewer always or use splitters to put color back into your line to how the Biewer originated and to what actually causes the ticking we see on the tummies of our babies. Kathy and I spent a year researching, talking to people and documenting as much as we possibly could about litters in Germany and litters here in the US before we bought our first Biewers. We both feel in love with them when we first saw them but knew if we were going to start a breeding program we had to learn as much as we possibly could. We are sharing with you the things we learned that first year and continue to learn every day about our Biewers. We want to make sure we are doing the best we can and will continue to educate ourselves . You see many different Biewer groups here in the United States and there are many different groups in Germany also. Each group has their own beliefs from the history of the Biewer to how to breed them. Hopefully someday everyone can come together and do what is best for this breed. Kathy and I have left groups because of the disagreements and arguments about how to breed Biewers. We believe we should agree to disagree so we can learn from other breeders here in the United States and in Germany! Teach us so we are doing the best we possibly can for our Biewers. That is all we are really asking. One of the biggest reasons we wanted to put the puppy pictures out here from birth to the age they ready to go to their new homes was to help educate those interested in Biewers. Yes they are yorkies but they mature a little differently than what the standard yorkie does. We wanted to share this experience with everyone. If we don't know the answer to your questions we will try our best to find out an answer for you. Thank you for your wonderful comments about the babies. :) Pam and Kathy |
2 Attachment(s) These pictures are the splitter girls that I have Rishona is also my avatar. Hanny is 2 and just came over from Germany. When these girls have puppies they should have some standard yorkies and some Biewers. Most of the yorkies will be placed in pet homes. If we think they have outstanding qualities then we may find a breeder that is wanting a splitter to add color back into their program. This type of breeding is where Michele's Angel and Coco that Pam sold came from. They are both in pet homes because of their size. Coco is actually Rishona's full sister. I also have their brother, Rocky. We are keeping him intact incase we want to breed him to a girl that is throwing a lot of white. Of course, some of the pups would then be standard yorkie and some Biewer. Cross your fingers that Hanny is breed and will have puppies in April!!! |
awwww very cute |
THis is all so interesting to me. I love to learn new things especially about the biewers. And so veri cool seeing the pictures as they grow. |
they are getting so big from the last pictures i saw!! they are all so pretty! |
Delayed 5 Week Pictures 4 Attachment(s) Hello everyone...Im sorry I didn't not get the pictures out on Wednesday of last week. I have been very preoccupied worry and watching my tiny tiny Biewer Girl that was at the end of her pregnancy last week. I am excited to say she had her baby today, unfortunately we had to have a c-section but she and the baby are doing very well this evening. I spayed her at the same time. Thank God for Kathy, she met me at the vets office, took JoJo from my arms and stayed with her the entire time she was having her surgery!!! I was a mess and couldnt do it!!! Thank you again Kathy for loving me and my baby as much as you love your babies. Here are the puppy pictures for week 5. Boy have they grown and changed from last week. This week we will be taping ears to help them stand. Kathy and I have decided to sell all four babies. We will not be holding any back for ourselves out of this litter. Kathy recently purchased two females adults from Germany. We are going to concentrate on helping them become comfortable and teaching them English before we keep puppies back. We want to make this as easy as we possibly can for the new gals. Pam |
Was JoJo's baby a male or female? Sorry for the difficulties, but glad that Kathy was able to be there for you. That's what friends are for: to be there when you need them the most. Looking forward to seeing JoJo's baby and more of this beautiful litter. |
Cute little chubby bellies :p |
Girl three is my pick!!!! ;) |
What wonderful, beautiful babies...they will be stunning adults...Congratulations again -Diana:animal-pa |
Oh they are so cute girl 3 is my pick also I was all for the boy till this week. I am sorry about the other Mom but Thankful you got a cute healthy little baby. Good luck to you and your whole family. Can't wait to see the new Girls form Germany. |
Adorable They are beautiful & Cute:) . How much are you asking for them and do you have pics of the parents.:bravo: |
JoJo's little one she had yesterday is a boy! He is beautiful and I hope I can keep him alive. She is not being a good mommy but she went through allot yesterday so I understand she is not interested. Last night the only way I could get her to stay with him was to lay her on my bed just like we do every night and lay him up next to her. As long as I was there laying with her and petting her head she was fine and would let him nurse. If I moved or got up for any reason she would not have anything to do with him. She is doing little better with that today though. I didn't sleep at all last night for fear the puppy would get too far away from us or something would happen to him and then also trying to keep her calm. I am hoping with all my heart this is all just because of the hard day she had yesterday and that her natural instinct will take over and she will start to take care of him. If not I will do everything I possibly can for him but it is so much better for them if the mother will do it. We are asking $3500 for the 5 week puppies. Please private message with any other questions you may have. Thank you all for the wonderful compliments one the babies!! Pam |
