Jill Arrived!!! 3 Attachment(s) Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share the first pictures of Jill. We picked her up this afternoon. She is 12 weeks old. We are just now working on getting Jack adjusted to her. Not going as I hoped, but it is just the first few hours. More later. :aimeeyork |

What a little doll face. Very cute. We just brought our little Morgan home 3 weeks ago and our 1 y/o boy (Bailey) wasn't too thrilled with her for the first few days but now, he LOVES her. They play and play and play together and he is more gentle than I had originally expected he would be. :) What a sweet little tongue! I gotta stop looking at all these baby pics, my husband will shoot me if I suggest another dog. (of any size, age or breed). He does love dogs, don't get me wrong, he just thinks 2 are enough. :( |

Day Two, More Pictures 4 Attachment(s) Thank you all for your wonderful compliments and words of support. First night was interesting. Had a bit of a scare with her being a bit lethargic when she work this morning. Didn't eat breakfast and all she wanted to do was sleep. We had a vet appt. scheduled anyway and told the vet of our concern. He did a blood test. Her blood sugar levels were 126 with 110-125 being average so that was reassuring. Vet explained that Jill has just been through a stressful night, leaving family, joining ours including a new dog. He said keep an eye one her, told us what to look for and said call if we have any further concerns. We have given her Nutracal last night and this am and he suggested that if the eating doesn't improve to mix some canned puppy food with her regular food. She percked up soon as we arrived home. She has been playing, eating and sleeping. Oh yes, and pooping too! We'll see what tonight brings. She sure has a set of lungs on her!!! What was I thinking!!!
