Rosehill is on baby watch!
 

Just so excited!!! We are now home from the vet, another ultrasound to verify "life", and an xray to clearly see positions and calculate head to pelvic ring ratio! We have a lot of thrilled, new approved owners on this waiting list!!!
*GREAT news!! All five babies are alive and well, little hearts beating excitedly with anticipation of joining us at Rosehill, and little feet and legs moving so sweetly! Then we did the xray so we could verify positions and could calculate head size....all is great and NO PROBLEMS are noted!! Momma and all babies are doing super!! Everyone is lined up, head to tail, just waiting for Mother Nature to announce, "Time to GO!!!"
*We drew a panel on her to get baseline calcium levels, as well as blood counts to make sure there are no problems with any anemia.....those results will be in tomorrow! Just precautions on the blood work....the ICU nurse in me likes to see "inside as well as outside"!!! Not expecting any problems with blood work!
*I am going to try to get pics of each pups delivery.....seems like when things get going, I always forget to do that!
*Rosehill is now on lockdown!! Steelie is on isolation, with just me and spa treatments and soothing music and ensconsed, snug as a bug in a rug, in her whelping crate at the foot of my bed! Sooooooo....let the games begin!!!! We are on puppy watch,

Wow, puppies, great news that babies are good and waiting for momma nature's call. Pictures would be awesome if it's possible.

I guess I am so excited because I have had a really rough year with breeding...all the activity going on around the house, in preparation for an eventual move up to Paris, these girls are all off on their cycles, and 3 breedings were not even successful....which triggers hormone checks and visits to reproductive specialists.....$$$$$!! FINALLY, my good girl Steelie comes through for me!

We have 5 healthy babies! Two girls and three boys! Well baby check and post partem check tomorrow....Steeley did fine with no problems whatever....all babies are healthy and happy and range 2.2 - 3.5 oz. We started delivering babies at 12:40am and continued until 3am, about 30 - 40 minutes apart....very smooth, no problems! Now, for some rest!

Thank you! Wonderful event! As usual, I forgot to grab the camera and get pics of the births for the new owners! Steelie goes so fast, I usually just have time to get the area cleaned up before she starts with the next one! Forgot all about the camera! Time for that in the next couple of days!

Congratulations! And congrats to all those new people soon to be owned by a Yorkie. I am also a picture nut and can't wait for pictures! I might have talked to you looking for a baby, I looked for a female for over a year, and really wanted to stay in Texas. Ended up going to Arkansaa - now after being on here for a month, I worry my baby might not have come from the most reputable breeder. Can't wait for pics.

I would like to be able to let this go on its merry way, but kind of not completely honest!!....but that would be Paris TEXAS, not Paris France!!!! Just wanted you to get the right Paris!!!

How are the puppies and momma doing.

Hope puppies and mama are doing good this morning.

Took some pics this am of momma feeding her family....sent them to my "webmaster" to get posted....I know she will post them to my FB page, and probably to my website....dont know if she will put them on YT....I may end up trying to do that myself.....I have NO idea how to resize and do all the manipulating that is required to get pics on YT.....my friend is sending her son off to the Middle East on his ship this weekend....I know she is very upset, and may not feel like doing my pics today....I will just have to see where this goes!

As long as momma and babies are doing good is what matters.

I seldom have babies available, never females! This litter was reserved for a little over a year...thanks to my dedicated, loyal followers that hang with me for as long as it takes, to get a Rosehill baby! I am humbled and so very appreciative of my extended Rosehill family! Congratulations on getting your puppy, and we will pray you have been blessed with a healthy baby and an involved, concerned, responsible breeder! Not every baby that comes from questionable sources/breeders, is automatically doomed to have health issues, so dont be discouraged!

Judy such a huge congrats! I do know you are busier than a one armed paper hanger.


May everything continue on smoothly, and may your pups be blessed with a long and healthy life with fabulous owners!

I haven't been on the forum in several weeks. This is the first thread that I opened. How wonderful. It is so good to hear that the babies arrived safely!!
