My First Biewer Litter is Here (Hannah's babies)!

I am pleased as punch and SO excited & proud to announce the birth of my very first Biewer Terrier litter! Hannah whelped her first litter.......4 beautiful babies, 3 boys and 1 girl. The whelp went smoothly with the 4 pups arriving within less than 2 hours from the first one to the last. The pups weights ranged between 3 3/4 ounces to just over 4 ounces each. Hannah & her babies are all doing well!

Congratulations! Rose, they are so adorable. :D I love the little heart shaped patch - do you think he'll keep it as he gets older?

Thank you.............I would guess that once the hair starts getting longer the heart will lose it's shape, however maybe if his new family keeps his hair short it will still be visible. Not sure, but it seems likely. :confused:

They are adorable. I love the heart patch and the long gloves on the puppy. Be still my heart thump thump :love: :love: I really want a Biewer for my next puppy.

Thanks everyone! This litter is an extension of all my doggie dreams come true and I am beyond thrilled. Hannah is being a wonderful mama and she and the babies are doing fine. I will be sure to keep the pictures coming as they grow........here's one more to share; Hannah looks so pleased with herself, as well she should be.:D

The Biewer Babies are 1 Week Old!

A week has flown by already........I've spent many hours sitting by their side just as Hannah has, watching every little move they make and listening to every sound. As I was taking these latest pictures yesterday, I could swear that a couple of them were growling at me obviously not happy at being taken from their nice warm bed for weights & picture taking.:rolleyes: They are all doing well, scooting up the the food bar with ease when Hannah is there. They've each almost doubled their birth weight but they are still such little ones; smaller than the yorkie litters I have helped Halle raise. Slowly Hannah is tearing herself away from her babies for a few minutes throughout each day, but it's not very long before she wants back with them. Such a good mommy! :p

I so want one, I am proud to say I am addicted to YT and now Biewer Terriers. Have to add I adore Maltese's too.

Time to share 2 week old pictures & stats on Hannah's babies! They range in weight from 8 3/8 oz to 11 1/4 oz, all of their eyes have opened up, and they are using their little legs a lot more to scoot themselves around. They'll be getting up on all fours before too much longer. Hannah continues to be a great mama and she herself is doing well with no post whelp problems at all!!

We've also decided on names, so without further delay, ladies first............
