| The general rule of thumb is that you take their weight at 12 weeks and double it. It doesn't always work out though.

| oh okay, at 12 weeks she was about 1.14lbs, so about 3lbs? that's so teeny! I'll have to get ramps or something so she can get on and off of the couch lol

| According the the growth chart it looks like she should be 3.5 to 4 lbs. Here is the chart: Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppy Growth/Weight Chart - watch us grow

| Yes, ramps or stairs are good, cause the tiny ones can get hurt so easily if they fall. I put a step stool near the couch when mine were little, but they eventually got big enough not to need it.

| Thanks for the chart! I appreciate it! I guess I have to get busy and start making ramps =] Aislee is pretty much fearless and she has jumped off the couch once and landed fine, but scared me to death! (She has also tried jumping off my bed, like I said- fearless.) Thanks for being so helpful!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | That is the exact weight Bridget was at 14 weeks - she is now 9 months old and about 6lbs - although our vet would like to see her closer to th 5lb mark - so we're keeping a closer eye on the treats her "daddy" sneaks to her.
