They where born Tuesday. After a long labor Jenna delivered a boy and girl. Her labor then stopped and the 3rd puppy was stuck sideways and couldn't be delivered. They did a emergency csection and delivered the 3 and smallest puppy. I have been feeding her ever since because she would not nurse. Today I finally got her nursing all the time.

I am so happy to see she is nursing:) Maybe you will be able to get a little bit of sleep. Keep up the good work.

aww Melissa that last one is so tiny, shes almost half the size.......Im so glad shes ok and eating, and that mom is fine. Congrats to you on your beautiful new babes. Now get yourself some well deserved rest.

They are beautiful Melissa! I'm so happy to hear that the little one is gaining strength and is beginning to nurse from Jenna; you did a great job helping her get there. I know you'll still want to keep an eye on her, but do try and get some rest in between. Congrats!

Thanks everyone! The little girl is nursing on her own now all the time! She has started gaining slowly. I am trying not to get to excited because I know they can go down fast. I am praying she ill keep it up! I just love these babies so much.

Awww congrats! I have a litter that's only 2 weeks old and had trouble with the tiny one at first. I have the formula recipe recommended by Myra Savant Harris and after my last pup and the big improvement it made with him, I'm a believer in the formula! Let me know if you need it.... and good luck!

The little girl is finally gaining on her own! I am so happy I only had to get up a couple times last night to make sure.

awww that's great ! She sure was a tiny little thing in that photo.....and mom was doing such a good job....nature is just amazing

They are a week old today so I will get updated pictures. The little girl is slowly gaining but still tiny. The other 2 are really getting the milk..! LOL It always amazes me how fast they can grow the first week.

My son went in and sat with them last night and I couldn't believe the bigger girl would crawl out of the box on his lap. I thought first it was just an accident but we put her back in and she did it again. My son was smiling from ear to ear. He always claims one when they are born and she is the one he has claimed. He is such a good helper. When I took Jenna for the csection he stay home and made sure the other 2 were warm. It was after midnight and he was sitting there with them in a little box with a heating pad.

What a precious picture that would have been your son with the babies, i can see that he has a wonderful caring heart maybe he will be a vet that would be great :)

Awww, how sweet! Sounds like Nevaeh has "picked" him as well.:D
