Kalina's puppy thread...sweet babies

OH MY GOSH- I Love the picture of Kalina looking up at the camera with the two fat little butterballs - they are all beautiful and isn't it amazing how fast they grow- you don't even need time lapse photography-every day you can see a new development these first 3 weeks. Congratulations.

Oh your two babies are getting cuter all the time; their eyes opening up opens up a whole new world not only for them, but for you too. I am so glad they are doing so well............their daddy is gorgeous!

The puppies are 3 weeks old now and growing like weeds. Today they were both trying to walk. They could almost stand and take a wobbly step or two.

Here is Sebastian. He is 13 ozs. and has more than quadrupled his birth weight. I now need two hands to hold him compared to how he barely fit in one hand at birth.

And here is his "big" sister, Gidget. She was smaller than Sebi at birth and was the second born, but she has passed her brother - weighing in today at exactly one pound!!

She is such a sweetheart except when it's time to eat - she shoves Sebi off the nipple when he has just settled down to eat. She is really fat!

Awww, those babies are so cute, both of them..................but there's something about Sebastian's sweet little face. So cute; but I try very hard not to play favorites.
They're both as sweet as can be and getting cuter all the time.

I tend to agree with you. He has such a short little face and big eyes - everyone goes right for him first. However, Gidget is changing to look more like him every day and she is, for whatever reason, not that photogenic. He takes a better picture. I'll post some more of them soon now that they are sitting up and walking like "real dogs".

Both Sebastian and Gidget are adorable. Just look how they have grown. Won't be long before they will be running all over the place. Let the fun begin!

They stand up now and walk. She stands and walks much better than him. Gidget is over 18 ozs at 4 weeks and Sebi is 15 ozs.

When do you start letting them lap up a little formula? Is it too soon?

I start offering mushy kibble at 2 1/2 to three weeks. Scarlett's four are now little fat gobblers and have found the "big dog" dry food. They aren't actually eating the dry kibble yet, but are licking and chewing. They have some teeth and their little back gums are all swollen.

Meet Sebastian and Gidget. They are 11 days old today and weigh 8 oz each. Sebastian was 3 oz at birth and Gidget was 2.7 oz at birth. I can't believe how fat they are!

Kalina is such a good Mommie to these two babies.

Oh Susan, what beauties! When I clicked on the first picture it took my breath away. The picture of Sebastian giving Gidget a kissiepoo made my heart melt. You have done well, my friend. They are perfect!

oh my gosh they are just so cute!!!!! I know what you mean about where would Kalina put other puppies. Mine have gotten so big too that Mom is hiden if she lays down. Congratulations
