My little orphan boy! 4 Attachment(s) Hey everyone, I just wanted to post pictures and give a quick update of my little boy that was an orphan, here's the original thread http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...abor-last.html He's 7 weeks old now and is a ball of joy. He tries to run all over the place, it is too cute! He went for his first shot last week and the vet couldn't believe how small he still was (just under 15 ounces), so she only gave him 1/2 a shot and I had me come back a week later (which was yesterday) to get the second 1/2 of the shot, he pulled through like a trooper and is doing great! I'm also attatching a picture of him eating, it is so cute he eats with one of his hind legs in the air :rollingey, what a little goof ball he is.. I want to thank Mary (YT user name Mardelin) for all the help she provided me through out this, she was truly a God Send and I THANK her so much for it :2hearts2:. P.S. Thank you Cindy (YT screen name Chattiesmom) for the napsak he just loves it, he doesn't sleep anywhere else since he got it. p.s.s and yes my little baby lives in a kiddie swimming pool :p |
More pictures... 2 Attachment(s) I also wanted to include these pictures. The little pink octopus was his mama's favorite toy, I gave it to him and it now seems to be his favorite toy, he always sleeps with it. The one where he is on the green blanket he was 3 weeks old and the one of him on the black he was 5 weeks old. He reminds me so much of her :luvu: |

OMGosh, he has one of the CUTEST faces I've ever seen!! I think I'm in love! :) I had also wondered if you were keeping him - you'd have to hire guards to stop the stampeding crowds if you weren't. That pic of him eating while holding his leg up is hilarious! I'd completely missed that in the pic until I read more of your post. I can't wait to see more pics as he's growing up. You've done a terrific job with him - congratulations!! |

We don't have an "Official" name for him yet, but we call him...... Ma Mooshie, I know funny, right? :animal36 it kind of stands for My Monkie but in a more unique way of saying it :p... But we do need an official name for him, I don't want to register him under that name or have it at the vets office, its more of a nickname for us at home ;). Any suggestions?? |

LOL your little one has some balancing act going on while he eats dosen't he?:p He is so adorable. What a cutie. Brought teas to my eyes seeing him with his momma's octopus. I read your story and my heart broke for you when it happened. I am so happy this little one made it and brought you such happiness again. I know how hard you must have worked to get him where he is today. Your both very special. Congratulations and many, many years of happiness with your little boy.:aimeeyork |

BTW, if you didn't know--his mama is in my avatar, she was about a year old when that picture was taken. |

And yes, what a challenge it was caring for him, I do raise/show/breed rabbits so I knew just a tad bit about bottle feeding, but feeding every 2 -3 hours is what took a toll on me (rabbits only need to eat once a day!), but he was MORE then worth it. And Mary (Mardelin) was always right there to answer any question I had, I also had my vets home # (they've become attatched to him because of what happened) but for some reason everytime my vet told me to do something I would always run it by Mary. Its weird how you can trust someone so much when you haven't even met them in person. p.s. I can't tell you how many times he pee'd on me  |
I'm happy to see he his doing so well! He is an adorable little bundle of joy, of course you are keeping him, how could anyone give him up! I am sure it has been a lot of hard work and worry to get him to this point. Good job mom!:bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo::bravo: |
Thank you ALL so much for all your kind words and support :ghug: |
