Zoe's Memorial Day Puppies!

Zoe had her babies 2 days early, 3am on Memorial Day!
We had a boy 3.6 oz
another boy 2 oz
a girl 2.2 oz
and a boy 2 oz.

Sadly, the last boy did not thrive. :( I did everything even tube feeding him every hour and a half thru the night but he just continued to fail and we lost him at 7:30 Wed morning. :cry: I was heartbroken that I couldn't save him but my heart is also filled with awe at the little miracles we have that did survived.
The first born boy is already 7 oz
My girl is 4.8 oz
And our little boy is 4 oz.

Awww, congrats on the new babies, they are beautiful. The thrill of helping to bring these little ones into the world makes losing any of them so tough. I'm so sorry for the loss of the little boy.

Thanks Mary! I always knew it was a possibility but I guess I was hoping it wouldn't happen to us. :(

Thank you! They just depend on you for so much and you don't want to let them down but nothing I tried seemed to work for this little guy. I know that when I listened to heartbeats, I did hear one that was weaker than the other 3. Not sure if it was him but now I'm thinking it was. And the fact that Zoe went a few days early, maybe that is why? I guess really, I'll never know but I keep thinking maybe if I tried this or I should have done that.....

Here's some new photos. Babies are 1 week and 5 days old today.

The first photo is a puppy pile of all of them - the big boy seems to like laying on his back. :p

Second photo is the bigger boy. His eyes started opening yesterday! He likes being held, too.

Third photo is the girl. Her eyes started opening today. She's just a little bit behind her big brother.

Fourth photo is our little boy. His eyes aren't opening yet but I bet maybe tomorrow or Monday.

Aren't they all adorable????!!!:p

Time to update pictures. Our babies are 3 weeks old today and today they are trying to walk around and trying to play. They are still shakey on their feet but so adorable!
First photo is the bigger boy and the first born.
Second photo is the littler boy and the second born.
Third photo is my little girl.
And I couldn't resist sharing the last picture. :p

Thanks everyone! They are so much fun to just watch! The biggest one is full of spunk and this morning was sorta growling at the others and trying to play. Honestly, the growling sounds more like a kitten purring - it's just too cute! I'm excited to see what their personalities are like! So far, all of them really are interested in me and my boys and like to play with us!
