				   | With so many puppies, we had to come up with a way to mark each one and they wouldn't keep ribbons on. So, I came up with this...I got a bag of "craft loops" from the craft department of Wal-Mart...you know the little weaving looms that kids can make potholders and stuff with? I have to double them, kinda like a pony-tail holder, then slip them over the pups heads. There's like 7 or 8 colors in the bag, and they are soft and stretchy, so they don't bind on the pups necks. Viola...instant baby-sized collars! now we tend to call them by colors, since we don't wanna name them yet! |

				   | sounds like a cute idea. You might post in the breeder section as they might be interested in that idea too. |

				   | I used those when we had a litter of labs. The only problem I had was when the other pups were moving around and just starting to play their little nails would catch on the loops and the loops would start to fall apart and I had strings everywhere.

				   | i used nail polish on their tiny toenails until i had to trim nails- so i put a small amount of nail polish on inside tip of ear to be able to tell my boys apart. |
