Yay Ruby!! The puppies are so precious, every single one of them. I'm glad all the babies are latching on and nursing now. You're going to have a house full of fun in about 5-6 weeks...lol |

Congrats... I'm sure you're so excited. My Fergie is almost 6 months old and I've tossed around the quest on breeding her. I'm just afraid of something going wrong and me loosing her. maybe you could help me with my decision!:confused: |

With so many to nurse, I thought it would be harder for Ruby, but she just seems to be taking it in stride. Also, now that they are a little older, they don't all nurse at the same time. Little Purple Boy gained .8 oz. in 24 hours and held on to it all night last night! I think he is finally making up for all the nursing he needed. I swear he is attached to Ruby every time I look at him. Did you know that puppies pick a nipple and tend to want to nurse only on that nipple? And of course, the nipples towards the tail have the most milk, so the puppies that nurse there consistently grow the fastest. Purple boy used to nurse up under mom's front legs, but now he is nursing at the tail end, just like the BIG DOGS. LOL Maybe he is a smart little guy. ;) |

Thank you It is my dream to show my dogs one day. I have a male with champion in his line but am finding it very hard to find someone will to sale me a girl with champion in her line so I it is going to take me alot longer to make that puppy without a female to enhance the champion. But I will not give up on this. I is my dream. maybethe lord will make away for this to happen for me. I hope so. thanks Denise. |

I've decided to name little purple boy a BIG name to give him something to live up to. So we are calling him Patagonia (probably "Paddy" for short, a good Irish name. LOL). |
