Here are their photos! I am so lucky to have these gorgeous babies and that mom and babies are doing fine. They were just born yesterday via C-section. Two boys - one weighing 3.5 oz. and the other 4 oz. I am hoping that they turn out really well and maybe a BIS winner. LOL I can wish! They do have the pedigree, so maybe. Cici is such a good mommy. She has been with them most all the time and only leaving to go potty. She did finally come out to visit this morning for about 5 min. then back in with her babies.

I have a photo of mom here for you. She is a bit rough looking since she just had the c-section yesterday and I was not going to bother her. I also fixed up one of puppy photo too.

Well, I took Cici in to my other vet today (since my usual vet is off today and their office is about 30 min. away) I just did not like Cici's temp staying up after her c-section to 102.3, even this morning it was this. Her c-section was Wednesday. She has also been running around the house too and crying. So before Sun. came and ended up in trouble. I took her in to my local vet (they are really good too - just not familar with them completly since we just moved her about a year ago). Well, they gave her fluids and an antibiotic shot and then antibiotic drops to take home (Amox). They check her sugar levels and they were just in the normal low range so they gave her some karo. I feel so much better. They too did not like her temp being there either and to prvent any problems down the road they treated her. I am so glad. I asked about eclampsia and they said she looked good and did not see any signs. I am not giving her any Calcium suppliments. I have been giving her cottage cheese though and egg. It is her first time and she was making me go in split ends mode. I just do not want anything to happen. They checked the pups out good too and they looked perfect - noice round full bellies and good color. No clef palete and skin good.
Just thought I would give you guys an up date.

Thank you all so much! Yes, Cici is doing much better today. Her temp is down to 101.6, Yea!! She still is picky and wants me to feed her, but at least she is eatting and getting out of her bed now more. I have been feeding her the liver (Science diet formula - c/d the vet gave me, eggs, cottage cheese, and her regular diet.) I gave her a little bit of Karo this am. She is on 1.0 ml of amoxicillin three times a day by mouth. And she is not running through all the rooms like she was yesterday. She seems very content. I have not given her any Pet Tabs Calcium since she is not panting nor as anxious as yesterday. Also with only 2 pups she should be okay. I hate to give her anything more than what she needs. I have Bene-Bac for the pups, but have not given it yet. Should I?? The pups seem to be doing well - nice color and not crying. They seem active, muscle twitches as normal and they are nursing good. Will keep you guys up dated. I am just so glad her temp is normal now. :)

I went ahead and gave each pup and mom some of the Benebac on their tongues - just a good squeeze. This is due to mom getting amoxicillin. I do not want the pups to fade due to the amox.

Babies are now 1 week old and weigh 5 and 5.5 oz. They are both doing great and mom is a real trooper. She is a lttle picky eating, but eats better int eh evenings than in the morning. I am using the mother's pudding recipe to help. But she looks great!
I will try and take photos soon.

They are so small at this age, but I just love'em. I enjoying singing them lullabyes and just holding them. They are now yawning! Too cute!
