The placentas were not detaching even though she was in labor, she she then required a c-section...I was so afraid we were going to lose her as she was weak from being sick in the first place. It was horrible experience.

Since I am a tech...our vet sent her home with her IV in and I gave her fluids every 3o minutes, injectable pain meds, boiled chicken, antibiotics and calsorb around the clock...and hand raised pups! I never stopped moving Christmas Eve...Espe would not even lay with them...she would literally try to run from them...but something clicked on Christmas afternoon and she decided they were hers and she wanted them! <whew>, so I was up for a couple more nights constantly checking them and doing some feedings for her...now she is super mom and fabulous with them! Thank goodness!
Oh my what a story thanks so much for sharing thank god all is well and the little ones are thriving...kiss those pink little bellies:)

It has been quite a ride and I do not think I ever remember being that tired before...lol...btw not sleeping for 3 nights and the stress I was difficult to wake when I did finally get some shut eye...lol...

The babies have opened their eyes...so now I have to get new pictures....they are sooooo cute!!!

Oh how new babies make us all smile. They are Gods way of taking all the troubles away when we see that new life. I love the feathers it shows those tiny babies off. Congrads and Good Luck with them. Sure you have watched them alot of hours.

Babies are 3 weeks old now and we are just loving them!!!
They look cuter and cuter everyday...ohhhh....I am sooo in love and have such big dreams for them! LOL...

Gosh....I just think they are soooo special and soooooo blessed to have you there for them! They are true miracles!!!!!!!! Beautiful little babies!

WOW...I can not believe it has been a month since Espe had her babies! Espe
is doing FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Smile Roll The babies are starting to walk and talk...lol...they have been talking for about a week...but I heard the first BARK yesterday! Sooo cute!

They are just the most precious babies...I am so in love with them!

The first pic is how they were sleeping this morning when I woke up...all cuddled up with mommy!

He is just 16.7 ounces now at 4 weeks old...he loves to cuddle and sleep..lol.
