Have you thought about trying to do a YorkieTalk Train?? Especially, with the holidays a lot of us are traveling. I'm going to Atlanta next week by car, and will then go to Nashville before going back north, if that helps at all.

I'm excited too! What is a YorkieTalk Train? I have never heard of it lol. I am still kind of a newbie on here.

You can fly with two separate carries if they are small enough but these are adult dogs. BUT, one goes in the cabin and one under the seat. As far as the yorkietrain, I would NEVER put one of my babies on it. I have seen people on here take part that only have two or three posts and etc. Basically, we don't "know' them. I would not trust anyone other than a very close personal friend or myself to take my baby anywhere. There is too much to risk and these trains can take days and days. I would advise against using that way.

I wasn't sure what yorkietrain meant. I kind of figured it out last night. I didn't like the idea because it is too risky. I do have some trust issues only to a certain extent. I know there a lot of wonderful, helpful people on here that are willing to help out. You are right that some people that only posted 3 times might want to take part of this and we don't really "know" them. They probably have other intentions, who knows. Thanks Dee for the heads up!

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone by suggesting this. I just thought if I was in Atlanta and could help I gladly would. I have been a member here for quite some time. And I have met several other members, pepe mint in Nashville has even cared for my dogs & helped with a yorkie train before. Also, I am experienced with traveling long distances with my yorkies in the car.

And Suzy and I have met and talk quite often and she and I planned a yorkie meetup here & have helped attract quite a few other people to YT. But, I understand that it is hard when most of us do not know each other personally, and you are right to be concerned about people who are brand-spanking new.

I was just trying to offer a suggestion, that might help because I would hate myself to go the shipping route.

i just meant the train stuff is not for me. others are comfortable with it. I know there are some very wonderful people that take part but others I wouldn't trust. Didn't mean to offend.

Oh I'm sorry... I wasn't saying that towards you. There are some new members that we don't know so well. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I am really appreciative that you wanted to help. It's just that from where you are... there is still a long way to go and I don't know who would take them after you. It is a neat idea, but it can get into the wrong hands. Thank you so much for giving suggestions. If there were only other ways beside shipping. I've thought about driving... lol ROAD TRIP!!!! I love road trips =)
It is too far though. It would be nice if we can meet half way like in Texas, but I know they are a busy couple with a child, so there's no way for that to happen. It would be nice to stop by in Texas though... maybe I can meet some YT members on here that are from there

Well, it shouldn't have. You ought to know girl, I wasn't talking about you and I did say there are wonderful people that take part. Sorry Lori, it's the new ones that we haven't had a chance to get to know that i worry about. Plus the fact that it sometimes takes days to get them where they are going.
