ask ME where I got my cocker Tessa 13 years ago. I'm embarrassed to say it was a small scale puppy mill. If I knew then what I know now I'd never have stepped foot in that place.:( but then again - I wouldn't have my Tessa either. |

You posted a link for a site, from which you obtained (indirectly) your wonderful furbaby. However, normally when a link is posted, people tend to click on it and check it out. When you click on the one you posted, you are not taken to a breeder's site where a dedication and love and care have been devoted to a breed and upholding the standard so many have worked their whole lives to promote and protect--instead, you find a site for a self proclaimed "Ranch" where not only do they sell puppies, but MANY different breeds, mixed breeds and not only that, but cattle, birds, bengal cats, minature horses, and even Wallaroos and Wallabies! That being the case, I'm not sure why the comments and reactions recieved were so shocking. I'm sorry. I understand that you are happy with the experience that you had in dealing with these people and I am very happy that you love your furbaby, but I think you would be hard pressed to convince ANYONE here that this place is doing what is right for these dogs...or birds...or horses...or kangaroos...or tigers or elephants whatever other wild beast they are breeding as "PETS.":( |

I am curious if the OP ever found a chorkie. I am currently looking for a pup and am trying to make a decision of what i want. I have thought about a silky. I have also thought about a chorkie. please respond if you have ideas about either breeds. PLEASE no puppy mill discussions i promise to research ALL suggestions and make an EDUCATED decision. Thank you! |
ive seen an ad in my local paper for chorkies, if interested in the papers name and website, pm me |
Isn't this a YORKIE board? I'm confused - I visit this site on a regular basis because of what I found was alot of dedicated yorkie owners and breeders that ultimately want what is best for this breed. Chorkie? What is that about? Doesn't seem appropriate for this boards forum. Its one thing for it to accidently occur - but to intentionally breed like this? Sorry, no offense - just my gut reaction. Since you put it out there for everyone - expect to get some concerned feedback. I'd be disappointed if you didn't get!! |
chorkies - OOPS!! HI! I don't know if you found your chorkie or not but the breeder where i got my Kissy and Angel had an OOPS breeding (chi/yorkie)and she is selling her pups on her website. This is a GREAT breeder and many of my freinds have also received yorkie puppies from her. The website is www.trenastoys.com. click under yorkies and you will see the OOPS listing. It is funny to read about it. The puppies are ready to go and there is 1 F and 1 M left. If you are still looking for one, i would recommend this breeder:thumbup: ...she is NOT a puppy mill and is very proud to show anyone around her place. She treats all her dogs as her babies. She lives outside of the D/FW area in Texas. Good luck finding your new baby!! |

www.petfinder.com has atleast two babies. Hey there. I was just on petfinder.com and found atleast two adorable little chorkies. Go to www.petfinder.com and type in your area and yorkie and you'll see them. They are babies. Really precious and the best part is they are in rescue. You'll not only save a life, but your pup will have all his shots, vet care and will be spayed or neutered. It's a win win for both of you. Best of luck. Elaine |
i think this is an old thread. I saw on another thread that she found her dog. |
